It looks pretty plastic-ey (if thats a word) and a childish blue, IMO. Hopefully it’s just harsh lighting.

That Graphite 12 Pro looks pretty great, but with that much shine I bet the Gold is the way to go.

Graphite looks a bit boring to me coming from a space gray 11 Pro, can't wait to see the other colors!

I wonder if Apple has reached the final form of iPhone designs for a while with MagSafe. Every year we all have to buy new cases and accessories. I would buy more cases if I knew they had a self life longer than a year. It would be good for the environment as well.

If you and Apple want to impress the environment just dont buy a new phone for a few years. I hear she loves that.

Ugh, those sides look so cheap. As if someone put some metallic coating on plastic to cover up for a cheap build. I know its steel, but it still looks terrible in the video...

I'm wondering why they didn't do the same finish they used on the iPhone 4 series. That dull matte stainless steel look was amazing.

They dropped “iPhone” with at least the 11 (which is easy to confirm as I’m typing on it), maybe even earlier (I’m sure someone will jump in here with exacting details). Only thing on the back now is the  logo.

I’m doubting between blue and black. I would probably go for the second, it seems a bit like cartoon blue.. I expected it to be darker.

What is the origin of that 12 Pro unboxing video, and why is it considered legit? If Prosser is in fact correct about devices being out for review/preview, then this is breaking embargo—which seems sketchy.

Kinda expect more from MacRumors than just passive acceptance. Any provenance, or analysis of why this is trusted?

MagSafe sounds annoying when trying to grab the phone off the charger. Wont it just lift the base up too? Is there Velcro or something? Seems like it’s solving a non existent problem.

How do you solve this riddle with the lightning cable you use now?

I think the design looks dope, sporting last years model so won't upgrade, but looks good for picking up the iPhone 13 (or 14 if they skip the unlucky number)

So far as I recall we're already on iPhone 13,(x) -- it's just called iPhone 12 👻

Might've been too samey. But yeah, I feel like they could have gone with a brushed stainless steel instead of polished ss. But mine will be in a case, so not a huge deal.
