It's not that difficult and similar to previous versions, but I'm wearing board shorts or gym shorts most days

I have the 11 pro same weight as 12 pro, still not good in shorts, i have to wear denim shorts when i walk my dog 3-4k's as they hold the phone better ;) I'm 4 hours south of you so shorts 9 plus months of the year lol.

Thinking 12 or mini myself even though have always bought the pro or equivalent.

Does the bottom lip of the case (since it's now closed at the bottom) get in the way when swiping up to go the home screen/app switcher, or particularly when swiping down for reachability?
Cases other than Apple's have had closed bottoms for literally years.

That case color looks gorgeous in regular pictures. As much as I hate spending that much money on a piece of silicone, I may have to get the plum case too. 😍

I’m also wondering if you could place your 12 Pro inside the your 11 Pro Max case just to see how well the MagSafe charger latches on to the phone with a non-magnet case?
12P in 11PM case. The magnets are weak and the charger doesn’t latch on much. Comes off very easily.

Beautiful!

More shots of the stainless steel sides please?

here you go!

Some comparison shots of 11PM vs 12P to show screen size and amount of info shown in safari.

Identical settings but the 12P looks noticeably warmer with a yellow tint

Do you remember the 11PM having the same yellow tint when you first got it? Maybe this is something that gradually goes away the longer you use it and have it?

As far as battery life is concerned I’ll be toggling the switch to “off” for 5G. To me this is still mainly a 4G phone for now, especially again, to maximize battery life

Hoping to see the white iPhone 12.. getting mine tomorrow but just want to see how it looks

Yeh I remember some sort of yellow tint last year. Hopefully it goes away, or we just get used to the new screen without comparing it with the old one.

What other case colour would look good? have to be blue.

I’m coming from an iPhone 11 Pro Max and going to a 12 Pro, and am also wondering about the bottoms of the case being closed on the new cases. The bottom of the silicone iPhone 11 Pro Max case is open at the bottom and I’m hoping it being closed doesn’t make much of a difference.

How fast does the MagSafe charge? Does the 18w work? These are my two questions, haha. Also, if you're able to go to an Apple store, do they have the leather wallets available?

Thank you kindly for posting pictures :)
Someone said the 18W won’t be able to put out the full 15W, more like 12.5W.

Would you mind doing a quick check on the PWM for those of us who are sensitive to the flickering?

Basically, you just:
-Set the 12’s screen to 100% brightness
-Start recording the 12’s screen with another device using slow-motion
-Slowly move the brightness slider on the 12 from 100% down to 0% to see the full range of the flickering

Here’s an example vid of the process:

I and the other PWM-sensitive users would really appreciate it if it’s possible to check this 😁
