@Boardiesboi - Thanks for the great post and answering questions! Mine: What iOS was loaded on the 12P when you got it? Just making sure my backups will work since i updated my current 11P to iOS 14.1 already.

The 12 pro actually looked a lot smaller than I thought compared to 11 PM. I’m having second thoughts might want to wait for the 12PM

I picked up my 12pro pb this morning too, calls all ok on Telstra, 5g, my display looks great, not yellow compared to my XS, I returned an 11pro last year that was very yellow.

Could someone check and see if it’s the True Tone setting making the screen tint yellow? The true tone is supposed to remove the blue light from the screen. I always turn it off on my devices as I don’t like a whiter screen the yellowish tint. I believe the True Tone is on as the default setting. If it’s not the True Tone setting I may stick with my X.

Got mine this morning too. Upgraded from an XS, so a noticeable improvement for me. Design, size and weight are all excellent. I’m still going to check out the max, but the pro might be where I settle.

Esim activation didn’t work as intended, so waiting Telstra to sort it. Still got my old physical sim, so not a huge drama, just annoying it didn’t work.

Are the calls/reception any better on Telstra?

Why do all new Apple phones seem to have slightly yellower screens than the previous models..?
Not sure how I feel about that yellow tint...

I like may displays on cooler side of tinting. Yellowish tints really bug me. Cant stand night shift etc. But I suspect its just something one will adjust to and will not notice unless it's side by side with another model.

I’m not excited to have a yellow screen (maybe the max will be different 🤪)

I really want to see this new gold - it seems like it is really nice

That’s what I think as well. Once we stop comparing against the older model we’ll just get used to the tone of the new screen

Does anyone hear a popping noise when lightly pressing on the apple logo on the back glass?

Thank you for sharing your pics! That PB is amazing! This shows that I will prefer the Pro Max. I love your color combination with the Plum case, I was thinking of doing that as well.

I canceled my blue pro for graphite lol now not so sure
Honestly for me... I am getting the graphite one because I had a blue HTC One and Note 5 (I think... the one that recalled Lol) and the color got old really quickly... but that's just me. I like the Graphite one.

I wonder OP: did you put on a screen protector and do you think the iPhone 11 screen protectors would fit the iPhone 12 screen size?

When I got my 11 PM back in October 2019 it was yellow tinted and here is what it looks like today you tell me if it’s still yellow tinted

I just picked up my iPhone 12 Pro Pacific Blue 128GB from the Apple Store in Sydney Australia.

First impressions:
  • Coming from an iPhone 11 Pro Max and I am already loving the lighter weight
  • The pacific blue colour is beautiful. It's a cross between midnight green and space grey with a touch of teal. You get different colours in different lighting conditions
  • The squared off edges make it really nice to hold and it's less slippery compared to the curved edges of the last few years
  • Can’t tell the difference in the photos being taken compared to the 11PM. But then I’m no photographer
  • Match made in heaven when paired with the plum silicone case, but it doesn’t magically attach easily like they showed in the event.
  • MagSafe works as intended and the magnet attachment is quite strong I’ll watch out for the indent or ring on the back of the case shown in another thread
  • Still setting up my eSIM with my provider so will report back with 5G speeds once that’s done
Happy to take questions! Will try and answer when I’m on breaks from working from home :D

Some photos - Includes size comparison between the 11 Pro Max in a forest green leather case.

This is the closest I’ve been to sizing down from a pro Max to a pro. How is the size for you?
