2 weeks already still at 100% health. And only 2-3% battery drain overnight so battery drain isn’t an issue on my iPhone

So today was a busy day. Right now its 7:58 pm. Started the day at 6 am.

I went on a trip (2,5h to the destination, 2,5h back home). I used my phone for Snapchat, WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook + streamed Apple Music. All the time the speed camera app was running in the background (so 5h GPS). We went on a little hike for about 2.5h. My phone was connected to my watch so the AW used the GPS from my 12 PM. 7.5h of GPS usage total.
While hiking I took around 30 Pics and checked social media a lot. On my way back home I edited the photos in Lightroom (+ Speed camera app and again streamed Christmas song with Apple Music haha)

Right now I have 7% left.

SOT: 5h
Screen off: 3h 10 min

Kinda impressive for about 7.5h GPS usage

Probably will kill the battery with around 5:30 SOT

mine won't hold charge and battery use is around 1% drop every 2 mins on idle and 10%'Ish every few mins on use rendering the phone too hot to hold.

Wow - these are amazing😂. My X gets 2 hours screen on (max) until I’m at <10%. Battery is pretty old and at 76%, but thinking I could more than triple battery life by switching to a new phone is insane...

Haha same for me. I was using i8 with 78% battery and max i would get 2H SOT with some gaming too. I used to charge almost thrice a day. Hence i went for the Pro Max instead of Pro or other models. Battery on PM is a tank and it can easily last a day and my usage is 3-5 times of i8 depending if i use mostly on wifi or on mobile. I am using dual sim card and though i have 5G enable on 1, i mostly use the LTE on the other one.

Why does Safari use so much battery? Yesterday 45 min Instagram, 45 min Safari and 40 min Facebook.

When I go to the Battery usage:

Instagram 14%

Safari 27%

Facebook (!) 10%

I used Facebook 5 min less than Safari but it used so much less battery. Same for Instagram

Averaging easy 8-10 hours per day with medium to heavy usage. It seems to handle heavier usage much better than the 11Max without getting as warm. Very happy with the 12Max.

2-2.5 week days easy on a single charge. It’s very difficult to kill it in a single day even during holidays/ weekends.

Pretty similar battery life to you guys with moderate usage from messenger FaceTime 001CC6C0-71C3-4EC8-8D28-D51F10D6D912.pngE0D1450D-EE45-4C3A-9A27-B10695EFE218.png

Hi there, I actually just made an account here only to discuss about the battery of the pro max.. I feel like my battery has become worse since upgrading to iOS 14.3 , I was on 14.2.1 and I regret updating so much as battery was never a complaint. Now, I could just being paranoid and maybe the battery hasn't really changed but to confirm this could someone tell me how much battery is consumed on their iPhone 12 PM (please specify iOS version, any), with 25% brightness (you can ask siri to set brightness to 25% , that way you know it's in fact 25%) and dark mode deactivated, on wifi, while doing this with no other apps open in the background:
- watch a youtube video in full screen for 10 mins (mine seems to consume about 1%)
- leave the youtube app open and scroll through facebook videos for 10 mins
- leave previous apps open and play subway surf for 10 mins

I know I should take into consideration other factors like location services but it's fine, I dont need this test to be precise but I just want an estimate... If you could, very kindly, check how much battery is consumed after each usage that would help me as I am seriously considering returning mine and ask for a replacement as it feels like I could be doing nothing and the battery is still consumed.. if you don't want to do all of this, could you please at least do the youtube one? Thank you in advance

Yes, only a little before hitting that 20 hour of battery life.

However, hit 12 hour on a single charge. Notice the time at 7:29AM when it was unplugged vs the time screenshot was taken at 10:52PM. Not a single charge in between.

oh this is a different image, so according to this you went from 100% at 7.29 am to needing to charge it at 10.52 pm, did you plug it in at 20 %. or you let it go to 0%? Also can I see your individual app usage ? The screen time says 13hrs, but doesn't that include the day prior to the first charge of the day?

Yes! All done on a single charge. It was plugged in at around 2-3% left. Low power mode was activated on 10% left
