A lot of mixed usage with Cellular and Wi-Fi, always keep autobrightness on. Literally never touch the brightness. I have airdrop Off, hand-off off (I have literally never used the feature so no need to keep it off), I have every privacy setting under system services on, except significant locations (I got annoyed at the phone giving me directions on how to get home all the time) and Background app refresh, just select apps on. I saw an increase in battery life once I turned off automatically airplay to tv’s, as soon as a i turned that off, my stand by battery life and normal usage shot right up. I tried it on my iPad Pro first, I used to have to charge it every other day due to it losing so much battery with it on, as soon as I turned it off, I charge my iPad every 3-5 days and I use it daily.
Thank you so much for such a detailed reply!

Guys is it normal to see a 1% battery loss while using social media Instagram/Facebook/Reddit/safari while switching between them for 6-7 mins? I’m around 40% brightness on wifi

I charged my iPhone to 100% on Saturday night at 10pm. Its Monday 3pm and I have 5% left as I type this. Screen on time is nearly 11 hours and screen off time (podcast streaming over airpods) close to 3 hours.

Hi there, may I ask your brightness ?
mine is set is auto brightness.

granted my screen time is only around 5 hours, 30 for last week but I don't use it loads during the working week but there was times where I was on 7 hours and 30 mins screen time with like 30% left.

think it depends on what you're doing really I mean if I go outside for an hours walk with podcasts my battery will drain more than say on wifi so current usage being at home all the time should be better than it would be in a normal world.

The inconsistency baffles me. Look at mine. 8 hours for ~100% on Tuesday v 8 hours for under 80% on Monday. Basically the same apps in use.

Iphone 12 pro max :9 hours youtube ,screen on - 9 hours , 50% brightnes ..batery left 20% .Is bad or good? I'm not satisfied.

9 hours usage with 20% left and you’re not happy. 🤔😂

if I didn't use the phone for a while it lasted less, so I ran it for many hours to test. Because in standby in 9 hours drain 10%..so so I stay with the 8 hours battery.

Battery health is at 100%. Considering it lasts me 2 days for 1 cycle, the battery health should remain high for a longer time before I see any degradation. My previous iPhones lasted just about a day and accumulated a lot of cycles in a short time period.

battery health is a load of 💩 not accurate at all, had a family member who had 78% battery health and phone was still performing normally.

Yep, both Pro Max models are pretty much punching above their weight, outperforming 5000mAh battery Samsung’s, which is pretty insane.

Checkout how the 12 Pro Max beats the S21 Ultra

Not hard to do, when you’re up against garbage inefficient processors and terrible inefficient software.

Not taking anything away from the iPhone 11/12 pro max, very impressive for such small batteries, best battery life when it comes to real world use. 😎

It’s kinda sad to see that Samsung still haven’t totally sorted out some of the power consumption issues, especially now that they have BOTH a 5nm chip and 5000mAh battery, the S21 Ultra should have been topping battery charts consistently across all reviews but it isn’t.

average 7.5 per day, with a 30/40 battery left. Those performances amaze me more then 11pro max.

Weird thing: just 32 charge cycle, and the health has dropped to 99%.

I usually charge overnight with a 5W wall charger and charge optimization set to on.

Is it normal?

The health is just an estimate, sometimes it can sit on a certain number like 100% or 95% for a very long time and then suddenly drop multiple % or drop slowly, doesn’t matter what you do really.

Only time you should worry is when the phone switches to limiting performance due to a bad battery at around 80%.
