I end most days on anything from 36% to 50%. with decent usage can get a good 7-8 hours screen time and it's still no lower than 35% left.
That’s what I’m getting also with 14.3. I remember ending the day with 70% sometimes when I first got it with same type of usage. Does anyone think the past couple software updates worsen the battery life?

Yes! All done on a single charge. It was plugged in at around 2-3% left. Low power mode was activated on 10% left

Thank you for your kind reply! Can you please try one thing? On 25% brightness (ask Siri to set it to 25%) , play a YouTube video for 10 mins on the YouTube app on full
Screen and see if the battery drops by 1%? I would be very grateful! Also activate dark mode for this test

I think iOS 14.3 actually worsened the battery, try this:
on 25% brightness (ask Siri to set it to 25%) , play a YouTube video for 10 mins on the YouTube app on full screen and see if the battery drops by 1%?

I get 5.5 to 6.5 of screen on time for 40% battery usage. Amazing.
Hi there! I’m asking the same question to everyone so can you check this too please (on Wi-Fi):

On 25% brightness (ask Siri to set it to 25%) , play a YouTube video for 10 mins on the YouTube app on full screen and see if the battery drops by 1%? I would be very grateful! Dark mode active

Over how many hours?
I charged my iPhone to 85% at 4.42 AM and used it very lightly on Wi-Fi, with brightness of about 25% on dark mode ..it’s is now 00.41 , so after a day of about 19-20 hrs I only had 3hr 40 of screen on time and I am now on 41% .. that’s 44% of battery consumption with only 3h40 SOT but I used it VERY LITTLE..
should I worry? I think it got worse after 14.3 but I never monitored it better so maybe I’m just overthinking

Good Question, over a 12 hour period.

Sorry, I don’t use Siri.

Sure no worries. Haha. I just did, it showed 69% after 10 mins and 15 seconds. Then as soon as I exited YouTube it showed 68%
thank you for your reply! was that on wifi and full screen youtube? Did you have bluetooth active or other apps open in the background? and the iOS version, please ..I know its a little too many things, but I am trying to compare mine

With full screen it was in landscape mode but not stretched, thus I had black borders left and right. WiFi on, Bluetooth off. Telegram and Safari was open I believe in back ground. I used the YouTube app for experiment. iOS 14.3

For everyone who has battery drain problems try the beta 14.4. Battery life and standby drain is much improved ...

Thank you so much!

What brightness do you use normally and was this on Wi-Fi?
A lot of mixed usage with Cellular and Wi-Fi, always keep autobrightness on. Literally never touch the brightness. I have airdrop Off, hand-off off (I have literally never used the feature so no need to keep it off), I have every privacy setting under system services on, except significant locations (I got annoyed at the phone giving me directions on how to get home all the time) and Background app refresh, just select apps on. I saw an increase in battery life once I turned off automatically airplay to tv’s, as soon as a i turned that off, my stand by battery life and normal usage shot right up. I tried it on my iPad Pro first, I used to have to charge it every other day due to it losing so much battery with it on, as soon as I turned it off, I charge my iPad every 3-5 days and I use it daily.

Battery life is amazing, yet to kill the battery in a single day.

On WiFi all day yesterday YouTube, safari and a bit of gaming, still had over 30% left.

Poor snapdragon 888 is dead on arrival 😎

Can I please see how you battery has been used throughout the day? By the apps I mean and can you specify the brightness level

On WiFi all day, YouTube 30% safari 45% bit of Snapchat and gaming, system apps, brightness hovering around 30-60%

Had to charge my xs max a second time throughout the day, was a bit skeptical about the 11 pro max battery life last year.

I'm now a believer after purchasing the 12 pro max, this thing is a battery life BEAST!!!

I usually hit 50% battery life with 5 hours usage.

Yeah , I’m a believer also. The jujoo Apple used for the relatively small battery is outstanding.
