Alright, let’s bet. Easy money.I don’t think so, I would almost bet money that they are the same size. It’s a money grab.

Agree. Unfortunately, the textured glass of the pro line mutes those backside colors a bit more than I’d prefer.
Prio to the keynote, I was looking forward to the idea of a navy blue option (I consider navy blue a less pretentious black). Seeing it in marketing promo photos (aka: not in person), is disappointing. Where the 12/mini blue color landed is much more what I was hoping for in the pro line. Now I’m tempted to go my standard space grey/graphite route. Womp womp. Maybe I’ll get crazy and go white/silver.
I’m enrolled in the iUP program and will be upgrading Friday. Decisions decisions - albeit, not very important decisions. 🤪
"I'm mad! This thing I bought that's less expensive than the thing you bought has less on it!" lol. Like, yeah, that's how it works. Features = costYour comment contradicts itself. ”Its a crappy move, but should have been done last year”.
The Pro should have more ram.
The pros are 128gb storage and 6gb of ram. If you don’t wanna buy a new one then don’t. But they have been upgraded, sorry it’s out of your price range this year
I said aside from the sensor size, and then went on to explain that there is room for a bigger sensor because it’s a bigger phone.
I’m also a pro photographer, though I’m not sure how most of my clients would react if I turned up for a shoot with my iPhone.
Not out of my price range. You dont know my finances so ****. This is why america is in the tubes, half country doesnt even have $1000 in emergency savings bc they buy models like the pro that are a waste of money. $1100 for a stupid phone. No thanks.
They are the same.
Fair enough but for the vast majority of users they won't notice that difference. They might be the same physically, but it looks like Apple is limiting the non-HDR brightness on the non-Pro. Both will get 1200 nits in HDR, but when not viewing HDR content, the regular is capped at 625 nits and the Pro 800 nits.
I agree there, certainly perfectly suitable as a walk around camera these days.Yeah, same here. I don’t think I’ll be showing up to a photo shoot with an iPhone quite yet. I use my iPhone 11 Pro mainly for travel. I was accustom to traveling with my DSLR, but the camera on the Pro series checks off a lot of boxes for me so its usually the only camera I bring along.
It was in reply to another who was concerned that the sensor size varies between the pro and the pro max. I was simply offering my opinion as to why the specs in this respect are slightly better on the max.Lol, this reminds of something my wife would say. She’s also a professional photographer and impressed as she is with her 11 Pro, there’s simply no comparison between smartphones and quality DSLR/Mirrorless. But nobody is really comparing the two. What is significant is how amazing of a point and shoot and video capture the iPhones are now. And that just got a lot better this year. I’m still really impressed with what I can capture on my 11 Pro.
All the iPad Pro 2020 models have 6GB RAM now, right from the 128GB model on up. It isn't like the 2018 models where only the 1TB storage models had 6GB RAM.
Sort of... https://developer.apple.com/documen...gate/1623063-applicationdidreceivememorywarniIt doesn't do traditional swapping no but what I mean is it might suspend all the apps running data to disk so it can just pull it back in when the app is brought back into use rather than just terminating the App and forcing a complete reload.
