They do on oled displays 😁😂Just to put things into perpective, pure black doesn't exist in nature except 5 miles under the sea and deep into a mine, and when you're dead

Yes it is! 12 ProStill there in Beta 6. iPhone 12 Pro Max
Where are you seeing it?Still there in Beta 6. iPhone 12 Pro Max
Some examples. Photo app, black bars should be black and they are not for around 7 seconds, then they turn black. Roll to next photo and happens again. Less noticeable is you turn off hdr in photos, but still there also.Where are you seeing it?
Noticing on dark mode on mac rumor forums greys still look slightly yellow/green.
Apple needs to make their own oled panels, paying Samsung a **** load of money for inferior oled panels, while they keep the best panels for themselves, can’t stand them filthy scumbags
My green tint was fixed once I installed beta 5, give it a bit more time, if it’s still not fixed with further updates, I’d be demanding a replacement from apple, keep in mind they didn’t fix the green tint issue on the 11s till august could be a while till there is a permeant fix. Some examples. Apple TV app, original content, beginning of an episode, should be black background. Is grey/green.
Should be tested in pitch black room. I have auto brightnesss on and at around 20/30% under this lighting conditions.
It seems they are trying to fix it, but with not total success until now. And is April...
The yellow tint is intentional i think. More accurate to d65 according to some expert reports i read. Is this green tint/ raised black what is not performing as it should.

Had a quick look at some photos on low brightness, couldn’t see any green tint anywhere, I’ll try again tonight once it’s darker. Is totally fixed in yours in beta 5?
I see it fixed when i watch a video in YouTube (not in Apple TV which persist) like the one in the first post, pure black, or a pure black photo, BUT i still seeing it in normal photos, in the black bars.
Thank you so muchHad a quick look at some photos on low brightness, couldn’t see any green tint anywhere, I’ll try again tonight once it’s darker.
Exact same issue here. Some examples. Photo app, black bars should be black and they are not for around 7 seconds, then they turn black. Roll to next photo and happens again. Less noticeable is you turn off hdr in photos, but still there also.

Maybe the green tinters should open their own thread? This is for raised blacks and I don't think everyone understands the difference.
OLED Blacks should switch the pixels off so no light is emitted. This isn't the case on the iPhone 12 series. The recent 14.5 betas have improved it slightly but not in all scenarios (e.g photos app).
Green tint however, is when grey shades are pushing too much green in the calibration. The reason the two problems are confused is because raised blacks are usually grey in tone and if your device pushes too much green in greys, you will see a green tint as well.
They are related but it's completely possible to have raised blacks without green tint. They're not the same issue.
You're right 😡 swiping through some photos in a pitch black room, every photo the black borders would show a green tint for a few seconds then it goes back to pure blacks. FFS 😡Is totally fixed in yours in beta 5?
