So, I went to the Apple store again and talked to this rep there who was super knowledgeable of the green tint/ raised blacks/ and yellow tint. He told me that Apple may have a recall in late July or August if they can't fix it. Or allow trade-in for the iPhone 13 with no cost.
Meh. Definitely will not happen and he ain't Tim Cook.

The raised blacks have been semi-fixed for me but HDR content is still LED black, I'm thinking this is more and more of a software issue because nightshift doesn't change the color like lcd does. It has to be software

Give it till august, if it ain’t fixed by then demand a replacement and don’t leave the apple store without making sure the replacement doesn’t have green tint.

We shouldn’t have to play the screen lottery game because of Samsung and apple stuff ups.

It may be Samsung and LG for the 12 pro display. This is because I used to save 2 LG OLED tv's that both had this problem. They gave up and got a sony one. This is a known lg issue.

As i wrote earlier my latest iphone 12 unit has been produced in April, probably has LG panel and after two weeks of using im not noticing any green tint or raised black as i have with my previous units

I went to Bestbuy for something and said why not visit the Apple Section with the 12 pro max, 12 pro, 12 and mini and they all had a more yellow tint than mine and all had raised blacks. I stated this in the yellow tint thread. They had 3 of each phone so in total 12 iPhones have the same issue isn't this proof its software

A senior advisor who spoke to some engineers at Apple told me that Apple didn’t have a full understanding of the green tint issue yet and they couldn’t promise a solution. This happened like a month ago.

Hmmm, sounds like the senior advisor is talking out of his anus, these phones have been out for a while now and they still don't have a understanding on the issue, yeah right 😂 I'll be getting mine replaced after I finish running iOS 15 PB lol.

Agree. always goes overboard in his videos
That’s why he’s lasted so long with now two YouTube channels each successful. He dances around yet still has a uniqueness about what he’s got to say or more so how he says it delivers it. He tells you about sponsors probably the very first to do so ??

either way for him it’s more about the conversation tit/tat not about what end users are experiencing negatively.

So I downloaded a black image and at any brightness, it's black I checked in a dark room under a blanket. But on a hdr video, it's gray so it's a glitch right?

And the flickering just happens randomly now at low brightness but before it was every second now just 1 every 10-15 minutes. So Apple is fixing it as slow as a turtle but fixing it never less
