Just got off the phone will apple support, said that apple is still looking into whether it’s a software or hardware issue.

Apple wouldn’t replace my phone for the green tint issue, they’re going to replace the screen instead.

Anyone had the issue not fixed or fixed with a screen replacement?
I have read several comments, that replacing screen alone didn’t fix the problem. And the problem reappeared later on the new replaced screen. I guess you should wait until august or so before getting the scr replaced.

Bit late for that 😬 got the screen replaced 😂 will test it out soon once it gets darker.

Green tint is finally gone after getting screen replaced. 😃

Greys actually look grey now and not vomit green. 😍

How do I tell which panel I got? What is the serial numbers for LG and Samsung panels?

That’s great news. Hope it’s not going to come back. I talked to Apple again last night and the same senior advisor kept telling me that there was no hardware issue and I needed to wait for a software update. I honestly don’t know what to do now.

Show them this thread, my greys look 100 times better, so does the whole screen, night and day difference.

Hope it doesn’t come back.

Don’t settle, get your phone or screen replaced.

Good luck 🙏 keep us updated.

Do you have any pictures of your old screen showing grey/green?

unfortunately not, only had my iPad to take pictures, pictures come out terrible, mine wasn't as severe as other peoples green tint but was still very noticeable, it got worse on iOS 15 PB 2, was seeing it everywhere all over the OS, started happening at higher level brightness as well. 🥺

A massive difference now viewing my phone during the night at any level brightness, greys and blacks look grey and black instead of green or piss yellow, no more green flashes when opening apps in dark mode. 😊

What about the raised black on the borders when viewing in Photos app?
