that’s why MacRumors said he’s unreliable. his previous leak videos directly said things that turned out to be wrong even if the rumors came from someone else. in the smaller iPhone 11 notch leak video, he literally said “this is the new iPhone” and it turned out to be wrong.

As I said I don’t remember max ever saying that. Even if he did he’s not going to get everything 100% correct. As I said his reliability has been very good this year like Jon Prosser has. He was bang on with all his s20 and one plus 8 leaks.so no Macrumours saying he’s not reliable is wrong

Idk if I’m blind or what, but I have an iPad Pro and iPhone 11 Pro and I notice absolutely no difference between the 120 Hz and 60 Hz displays.

And semi-relatedly, I also don't get the point of True Tone 😅

3X Zoom..? Looks like they are trying to play catch-up with Huawei and others who started off with 3X a couple of years ago. Maybe then for 2022 or 2033 they will go to 10X Zoom and say it improved by 300% lol.. Apple should have 30X or 50X and not just 3X

3x optical zoom is nice, but not at the expense of the 50 mm 2x lens - that is perfect for portraits. I'd rather have ultra wide, 50 mm and 70-80 mm.

And I'd rather have 20, 35, and 50 mm options. Though the 50 wouldn't be for my portraiture, being much too long. I like environmental context for my portraiture, and for that a 35 is perfect.

That whole part about FaceID opening at wider angles - I would have to NOT purchase this phone because of that. When I drive, I mount my phone on my car centre console. And my face it just out of angle... And so when people send me text messages - the screen only shows who it's from - not the contents... which is good, because if my daughter read the contents of those messages from my girlfriend - well - that wouldn't be so great...

And I tested it - if I lean to the right a few inches it will unlock the phone automatically... Ugh... So.. no wider unlock angle for me...

I'm also waiting for this screen quality jump before buying a new MacBook. 120Hz on my iPad Pro is simply too nice. Same reason I'm holding out for the iPhone 12, too.

Likewise. 120Hz is the most important display upgrade since HiDPI / Retina displays.

Truetone, P3, HDR? They are nice, but 120Hz is essential for responsiveness.

You also get the benefits of 120Hz everywhere, whereas you require special photography or conditions to take advantage of the other upgrades.

Watch: Scrolling will be amazing, but most Mac app windows will still resize at 20Hz.

I upgrade every year, but man... The iPhone X was awesome, 11 Pro Max is awesome and now this 12 Pro is going to take things to the next level. I’m excited.

So, you’re ok with a camera bump on the front? If you want the optics and sensor size of the rear facing camera, then you’ll need to accept the physics that requires the back camera bump to also require one on the front.

In my opinion, the iPhone 12 Pro will only run 120 Hz refresh rate on games and full-screen video playback. Reason: save battery life. After all, look at how gigantic flagship Android phones have become when they sport 120 Hz refresh rate screens.

After everything we are going through, a new iPhone is something to look forward to. But, all this pie in the sky rumors, whatever ok. We know Apple never pushes the tech until it is good and ready. Not just tech but dollars. This next phone better be out of this world to upgrade from my current 11 Pro Max. Hopefully we see it in the next four months.
