1. 20-25%
2. I don’t have a 5G contract.
3. you don’t have any signal in the underground, so the iPhone is constantly searching for 3G, LTE etc.
Are you finding that eSim drain the battery? I am also using eSim and zi have not found that to affect battery usage at all.
So Apple should optimize daily use of popular apps like FB, Messenger, Instagram - not only videos![]()
Part of the game 😆I like devices produced by Apple but there is always a problem with whatever![]()
Consistent with mineLast day in London.
61% with 2:10h Usage. 99% LTE. 32% usage of Maps. 11 % Photos.

We seem to have similar performances.
I use 5G and Google Maps is quite expensive on the battery, maybe the new app update or ios 5.0.2 helped, today it looked smoother.
I knew you were in London since you complained about no signal in the underground lol
I use dark mode, background off, 4g LTE only, locations services off and battery after 7 days still bad.
I have had the 13 Pro Max for about 5 days now and while the battery is good it's not near what others are reporting. Even with light - moderate use I end up with around 30% by end of day. I have heard for the first few days it may be indexing or whatever background process goes on but it's been five days now so kinda curious.
I am not getting 6-7 hours of screen on time with 50% left like others have reported here. How long did it take for the battery life to start stabilizing for you guys and when did you notice you reached the maximum battery life?
‘People like myself were getting the best performance when the phone was first released . It seems 15.01 has significantly effected performance.
Try updating to iOS 15.0.2. It may help. Certainly shouldn't make it worse. That has not been my experience using 15.0.1. My battery life has been great.
It can always get worse. I might just wait for 15.1 to be released. Right now I am getting stellar battery life.Try updating to iOS 15.0.2. It may help. Certainly shouldn't make it worse.
A bad cable can certainly cause the drop outs that you are seeing.Try updating to iOS 15.0.2. It may help. Certainly shouldn't make it worse.
You seem to be getting 10 hrs battery life with about 35% battery left. I think you are seeing that iOS is not correctly calculating battery usage. There was another person who has a 12 Pro and their battery graph was showing them getting 20 hours of battery life on 100% battery usage. That is not possible, as that would be better then the 12 Pro Max and even the 13 Pro Max.IOS 15.02
13 Mini
Not sure what’s causing those brief early AM 1 minute bursts as I’m not doing it, I’ve got scheduled down time on and do not disturb enabled. It’s not coming from things I’ve allowed through either. Something to do with the auto shutoff cable it’s attached to maybe?
I'm definitely not having the issue where the battery indicator is getting stuck on a certain percent. I agree something isn't likely being calculated right there. If it helps clarify I unplugged it at 100% at 6:30-35AM and it hit 20% at about 6:30PM, so about 12 hours in actual real time. The biggest user was Audible running in the background for a good 6hrs with Safari in second place with around 2.5hrs, will double check the figures if you're interested? You seem to be getting 10 hrs battery life with about 35% battery left. Your battery graph indicates that you would be able to get 15 hrs on 100% battery usage. That is not possible on a 13 Mini. I think maybe that iOS 15.1 will fix the battery usage issue. I say there is an issue because the battery percentage does not get updated correctly. This is people see the battery percentage hanging at a value for hours. And this has been verified against Coconut battery where iOS is always showing a battery percentage higher then actual.
