Oh you’re cheating. 🤣
I usually charge overnight. I use a smart plug, my phone will shut off power to the charger when it reaches 80% and then turns on low power mode for standby until I starting using the phone the next morning. This way my phone does not sit on a powered on charger all night.

In low power mode the A15 only uses about 3 watts of power.

You are getting about 10 hrs on 100% battery usage. For the regular 13 the is amazing battery life. If you achieved that while on 5G/4G that is very impressive.
The night i took those screenshots i used 5G all day.
I know batterylife depends on lots of things, but at friends or people on the internet i see they have like 6,5/7 hours of SOT when their phone is almost out of juice, while using Netflix and being on social media all day with screen brightness up at 50%.. i wasnt able yet to reach 6,5 hours.
Am i focussing too much on the SOT?

Netflix and video streaming consumes a lot less than other activities, I consumed 5% for 1hour of video on wifi on my 13 pro. But for other tasks it churns a lot faster

I think the important thing is not screen on time, but how many hours you are able to get on a full charge of battery. That is the screen on time + screen off time. You are getting amazing battery life, especially since you are using cellular. Are you friends getting anywhere near 10 hours usage on a full battery charge?

@memoma has a regular 13 which does not have promotion and won't be as power efficient playing videos as your 13 Pro which has promotion and can adjust down to 24 or 30 Hz, whereas the OP is always at 60 Hz.

iPhone 13 Pro Max
iOS 15.1
5 hrs 51 mins, 40% battery used
Estimate to 100% battery usage, 14 hrs 37 mins
The battery usage is between the first and second charges.

24 hours of screen time seems crazy. Crazy to the point that I would start to think of a calibration error. Do you manage to go three days without charging? Not to 0%, maybe 2,5 days just to reach 18%

I am really struggling to get decent battery life from my iPhone 13 Pro Max.

What I've done so far but without luck :

- Unpaired watch, and paired again with a restore.
- Unpaired watch, and paired again as a new watch.
- Reset network settings
- Reset all settings
- I have terrible cellular range at home, so airplane mode at home
- Nothing runs in the background except what is needed.
- Unpaired AirTags (find my activity)
- Location services only what needs it
- Removed widgets
- IGMP snooping on for the home accessories for unnecessary traffic.
- Removed Exchange mail account for my work
- Mail accounts on fetch.
- Changed wifi setting on my Unify network

Using console on my MacBook and connected to the iPhone the amount of faults and errors messages are extreme, but then again same on my iPad, guess most are not really errors or faults...

In the analytic logs I do see a lot of wakeup log from different app ( too many wakeups in 150 secs). Thought I pinpointed it first to my Hue bridge, but it is coming from different apps though. And maybe this is normal, I'm not sure.

Using Coconut thru wifi see how it's discharging, it's rarely on like 0.03watt, also bit higher doing something...

So what is left is a erase everything and start scratch but ouch really don't wanna do that... But I can't see anything in the battery view what might causes it. I thought I had it with the low cellular range, but Airplane mode did not made a lot of difference.

See my attached screenshot, one day I had 12 hours, but that was 6/7 background stuff so screen off. Usually most of the days before Saturday where with 50% screen off (Apple Music, Homekit activity, find my).

Also my phone is not getting hot or warm.

I do get a lot of notifications, but usually I leave my phone screen downwards so the screen doesn't lit up.

If anyone has another idea instead of starting scratch or contact Apple please do. Also I might need more patience and let it work it out after I did the reset all settings yesterday.

Post your 24 hour battery usage chart shoe the app times below with “SHOW ACTIVITY” selected. Want to see app times not percentage.

Photos running in the background - Do you have iCloud photos backing up? Did you check if the process got stuck?

Nah, that was yesterday only after a full reset, I needed to upload some photos while not connected to power so kinda pushed that.

Also I never quit apps, except the navigation ones.

Will post my last 24h but today looks better, might that my changes yesterday and the full reset 1,5 day ago is working.. We'll see... I did speak with an Apple engineer, but his knowledge was less then mine and he only does a simple diagnostic which it passed. I do have an appointment with a store next week, thought it not the real Apple Store some authorized store not that fond of as they probably suggest to start from scratch. Just need someone who actually can analyse the analytics reports which I'm pretty sure they can't.

I find that in using a VPN and ad blockers for Safari there are an excessive number of trackers blocked throughout the day. I’m starting to believe that there are identifiers that are always on and draining your phone depending on what apps are installed on the iOS device. After using VPN and adblockers for overall device protection, I noticed that my battery life improved on this phone significantly and MacRumors doesn’t heat up my phone and burn through battery life.

From the 24 hour battery chart, the first battery usage before you charged the phone, you got about 6:25 on 35% battery, estimate to 100% battery usage 18:20. The second battery usage after you charged your phone, 2:53 on 20% battery, estimate to 100% battery usage 14:25. This is insane battery life. If you last 24 hour is anything over 12 hours on 100% usage, I don't see an issue with your battery life.

Iphone 13 pro. ????

In standby you had about 10% drop in battery. And it looks like there is also big drops at other times as well. How long have you owed your 13 Pro?

I would suggest doing a Reset All Settings. Another thing to try is backup your phone to a Mac computer, put your phone in Recover Mode, update the phone and restore the phone from backup.

Thanks, but for the first part I see only four hours. As for the second part 70 minutes SOT. But it seems to be improved after the reset all settings. I'm not a heavy user normally so I'll give it a few days now and see.

Did you add up the individual bars in the chart because that is what I estimated based on? If you are going by the screen-on and screen-off times, that includes on the charger and is a moving 3 hour window. And screen-off times need to be included as that also uses battery.

Can I import the ispw file manually after the Dfu mode. my iphone is 14 Day old.
