I'm honestly not that impressed by the battery life on my 13. I'm literally not using Insta or any social media except for Reddit/Twitter and I usually get 3.5 hours per day screen On time. Not using 5G, only LTE when outside. Charing the phone once a day, when it drops to 30% or 25%. Charging it till 89-95%. Any tips on how to improve the bat. performance?

YouTube as some good battery saving tips videos. If you are not using an ad blocker for Safari, consider using one. Blocking ads will save battery life. I leave Dark Mode on all the time. The one time where my battery life was not great, I did a Reset All Settings which seemed to help. I don’t use Spotify, Reddit or Viber, so I wouldn’t know what affect they have on battery life.

The dreaded viber strikes again.

Anyone having excessive drain while using amazon music? I uodated their app and it used to be minimal drain. Now when I stream in background (even offline music) my battery has some decent drain with screen off. This is yesterday. Tried to uninstall and reinstall. I realize 5 hours is good was much better. No background app refresh.
I use Apple Music on iPhone (Amazon Music on Sonos though). For me playing podcasts on PocketCasts seems to suck the battery much more than it should; much more than streaming Apple Music.

iPhone 13 Pro Max
iOS 15.1.1
6:11, 45% battery used.
13:44, 100% battery used.

It looks like you got about 4:12, 35% battery used. You are getting an estimated 12:00 on 100% battery usage. Your battery life is right in line with what other people, including myself, are getting for battery life on the 13 Pro Max.

boas

Nice, I don't use my iPhone that much, as at home I use my MacBook or iPad for browsing so it's idling a lot and with a Watch/HomeKit/Findmy (lots of Apple stuff) it uses 2/3% each hour when Idle. And when using it, opening apps not in memory probably cost a lot more and so on which likely gives me a wrong picture of my battery life.
In Airplane mode it hardly is using anything so means nothing wrong on the hardware, just low power and BT off (but Wifi + Cellular on it uses about 0,5% each hour so I guess I have to stop looking looking and have to deal with it.

Good I have an Iphone 13 Pro Max and i wonder if it is normal when noécran says it has 100% charge but says when charging.....

There is mine with everything turned off with no background applications without gps on nor find Iphone and siri off and backup turned off, overnight, 20% charge without presence of applications working.
Maybe post a 24 hour battery usage chart with application times "SHOW ACTIVITY".

So, a week later I have started to notice that my battery life has definitely improved. Apparently some sort of indexing must’ve continued for a longer time than I expected.

Last weekend I didn’t have to charge my phone from Saturday around 11 AM to Monday at just after 12 PM, with still 26% left. Even though my usage wasn’t like heavy or so, I’m still very, very impressed. First time ever since owning an iPhone that I last two days without needing to charge.

And today and yesterday, battery life has been great as well. Yesterday for example I took it off the charger at 6 AM with 90% juice left. When I went to sleep at around 12:30 AM, it had 40% left, after what I’d consider medium usage.

This is the kind of battery performance I was rooting for. Hope it sticks like this!

Your battery life looks really bad, about 5 hrs on 100% battery usage. From 10pm to 5am you had pretty big battery drain, about 25%.

What bluetooth devices do you have connected to your phone? If you do, disconnect all of them, from your phone, and see what the battery life is like without then connected to your phone.

boas
só uso o relógio sempre usei e antes do ios 15.1 estava tudo bem a bateria estava muito boa durava 2 dias

Good just use the watch i always used and before ios 15.1 was all right the battery was very good lasted 2 days
Un-pair the watch from your phone. Do a Settings->General->Transfer or Reset iPhone->Reset->Reset All Settings. Pair your watch to the phone again. See it that helps.

Battery standby issue seems to be back. It resolved the past few weeks and now today im down to 64% with only 2hrs 40 minutes of usage on iPhone 13PM. It's draining a few percentage every hour...I don't know whats causing the problem again and don't see anything in the battery chart that might indicate app usage. I wonder if its some rogue app that got updated that's draining battery.

No Apple Watch. I do use my Bose QC35 but it never was a problem before. I think I figured out it was most likely Mail or Reddit. I saw a high % of battery used within the period for those apps but a low screen on/off time. I forced quit those apps and did a power cycle and it seems to be better. Will give it another day and see how it is.

I can basically use a couple of hours of the iphone 13 pro with the screen on before it goes below 20%. This seems way worse than my 12. Apple Watch is connected. Any tips/insights…?

I’ve done this before a few weeks ago and didn’t seem to help. I tried again for kicks about 30mins ago and my battery life went from 23% to 8% in about 20mins of use…
