Yep. Samsung saves the middle part of that sheet for their own devices 😂The 13 Pro’s are all using Samsung panels. There are no A or B grades - it simply depends on which part of the sheet they were cut from.

Looks decent, I would be happy with that.![]()
That’s my new iphone 13 pro , any comment?
Looks pretty good, but you should try some solid gray images too.
You got lucky, this is how mine looks next to my old xs, really annoying. That’s a gray background with 10-15% of brightness

In terms of OLED panel, that is as good as it gets. I'd accept it.That’s a gray background with 10-15% of brightness

Maybe not. A poster showing off his S21 display.Yep. Samsung saves the middle part of that sheet for their own devices 😂
Poor guy. Should have added least it doesn’t look like that during normal use.
Yep
My 13PM looks exactly the same, but only with truetone and nightshift on + this red tint also appears on white backgrounds.
If I turn off TT and NS I can barely see any of those tints … it’s crazy…
I have a launch day 13 Pro Max, 256 GB, graphite and not planning on swapping because I don’t feel like playing the screen lottery and don’t want to waste my time.
And to be honest I don’t believe a replacement device will be any better than my current one!
Did you ask Siri to check for screen uniformity? 🤣The screen lottery is real! Replacement unit just arrived. White color temperature isn’t perfectly even, but the the grays are WAYYYYYY better. I think I’m done playing the game for now.

100% get it. I wanted to love the replacement phone because it was otherwise flawless — no scratches, no dust in the cameras, and no gap at the top of the speaker!! I have hope that this next replacement will be about the same.
I am willing to play the lottery due to my screen and the significant amount of dust (not just specks here and there) under the cover glass of the wide angle camera.
Don’t see it. But either way that’s disgusting. I bet you the production line isn’t calibrating and cleaning machinery as to increase output with no down time. They ain’t following protocols. My iPhone 13 PM arrived with a scratched lens![]()
If your brain doesn't get used to it, you can always try again in ~6 months, assuming QC issues have been ironed out (I had this issue with glue around the edges of the display on the iPhone 5 and did something similar). Sometimes it's helpful to give yourself a timeline in situations like this, for sanity's sake. Two replacements side by side.. neither is perfect but I would rather have the uniform green. The green is also much less obvious in real life, since this is with night mode at 3s

seems like I just can’t win with these phones.. the green one has a fairly large gap above the earpiece while the uneven one has no gap at all. Sigh.. I’ll live with it
I tried using the one on the left last night and it seems like the orange tint is worse with temperature. The phone was restoring and the top of the screen was incredibly orange compared to the bottom of the screen, to the point that Safari in dark mode was obviously tinted. I'm sending back both (G9P panels) and I'll just keep my original G9N panel. If your brain doesn't get used to it, you can always try again in ~6 months, assuming QC issues have been ironed out (I had this issue with glue around the edges of the display on the iPhone 5 and did something similar).
