That requires a Windows PC. There is another way to do this directly from the iPhone. Settings->Privacy->Analytics & Improvements->Analytics Data. Scroll down until you see a entry that begins with sysdiagnose. Select it and then bring up the share sheet. I copy the zip file so that I can access it on my Mac computer. On computer, I unzip the file, browse to the ioreg folder, open the iodevicetree.txt file with a text editor. Search for raw-panel-serial-number. You can also copy the zip file to iCloud Files and access the files from there.install 3utools on your pc and connect your iPhone.
Click on “Verification report” and then you’ll see the screen serial number

One will need to hold both volume button and the side button at the same time until you feel the haptic vibrate, that will generate the sysdiagnose. That requires a Windows PC. Don’t see it. But either way that’s disgusting. I bet you the production line isn’t calibrating and cleaning machinery as to increase output with no down time. They ain’t following protocols.
Right on!! However I’ve been through this for years and even mid-year cycles can be bad, sigh … Foxconn QC sucks ass big time, always has and always will. It truly is, a lottery.Don’t see it. I decided to keep mine as well even though it is not perfect. I also don‘t have the time and the patience for that lottery. It is quite sad that this is what Apple QC looks like for their very expensive and „pro“ devices. There are really good ones out there but also way too many flawed ones.Guys, i also experience some uniformity issue / red hue on the right side of my phone screen. it's quite annoying, however I don't feel like to try OLED lottery again and again.
It will be a lottery. Even if you did get another one, it could have the same issue. Just know that there is no such thing as a perfect iPhone, just gotta pick your poison.third unit, sent back immediately.
Looking forward to receive a replacement, but i'm getting tired of this lottery.
I'm thinking of givin up with 13 and purchase a XR/12, waiting for the 14..

I'd rather keep a 100% uniform screen. I don't care about scratches on the device. lolI got a second 13 pro that had a really good display but several scratches in the frame and the sim tray couldnt be inserted all the way in, so I will just keep my not 100% uniform one and stop caring from now on. Still annoying for this ridiculous price point
Try tilting the phone to the left when you see the red hue in the right side. I believe this phenomenon is called color shift.if you’re not looking at the screen bang center color shifts.Guys, i also experience some uniformity issue / red hue on the right side of my phone screen. it's quite annoying, however I don't feel like to try OLED lottery again and again.
haha u know what is the worst thing? I live in the country that I don't have access to Apple Store, I just purchase from authorized reseller, which I would get my device one month after official release.I decided to keep mine as well even though it is not perfect. Next time around, I think the best thing to do is buy 5 new phones at once, pick the best one and send the others back. Not really an option, I know, but it would ensure a halfway decent device and not the hassle of replacements over weeks and months.
C‘mon Apple, you can do better than that!
Top of the phone looks like it’s angled forward. Color shift.Guys, i also experience some uniformity issue / red hue on the right side of my phone screen. it's quite annoying, however I don't feel like to try OLED lottery again and again.
is there any way to fix this or any other possible method to reduce the effect? it's annoying for meTop of the phone looks like it’s angled forward. Color shift.
I don’t think so. I remember I noticed the same crap with the s21 ultra Samsung. But some are more some less. But all do it. Try a mat screen protector or use color filter setting in accessibility menu. You’ll lose a little brightness but the colors can be adjusted to your taste at least.is there any way to fix this or any other possible method to reduce the effect? it's annoying for me
You’re absolutely right, but I don’t notice it in daily use and on the other device the sim tray didn’t seal properly with the casing.I'd rather keep a 100% uniform screen. I don't care about scratches on the device.
