The off-axis viewing on my display is not great. I get a sort of rainbow effect. Far from a perfect display. There is a sort of red shift to the display depending on how direct I look at the display. Move my head slightly and I can see this red shift momentarily on the low portion of text. Very strange effect. All in all, I am happy with the display. Does a perfect OLED display even exist?
Apparently (now) not.

13 Pro Max 256GB Silver

5% grey
~10% brightness

What do you think?

The red tint on clock screen left side is only on the photo and can‘t be seen in reality.

Sorry to see these examples y’all. Comparing my 12 Pro with my 13 Pro in a pitch dark room at minimum brightness couldn’t have been more different. Perfect color uniformity and zero green or red tint on the 13. My 12 Pro looked like I had a green mode enabled through iOS. That green tint was a real issue with that phone. My panel is absolutely perfect so I’m sorry to see there are some bad apples out there.
I have had the exact same experience with my 12 pro and 13 pro

Am I doing this right? True tone & night shift off, minimum brightness (13 Pro Max).

With every recent Apple device it feels like playing a lottery of some sort.
