The lengthy process to sort your homescreen and folders on the device just feels so archaic. Shortcuts have also proved that people would love to have custom icons, and would be nice to have a sort alphabetically both on the homescreen, and within custom folders. Oh, and a clipboard with saved text / OCR would be handy.

Then lets talk about 120hz screens with fingerprints and possibly some other Apple-first hardware innovation.

The evil plan from Apple and Tim Cook are to reduce the iPhone notch size incrementally until 2037 (20 years) despite there is a better alternative.

Hi.

Looking through some patents utilizing poLight´s TLens, i wonder if LG-Innotek will provide Apple and iPhone13 with a revolutionary new take on the selfie cam, a piezo acuated polymer lens, mimicing the human eye!

This is from poLight's website: packaged Tlens

This is from the patent:
Not sure the link works, but check in the patent itself, picture 10-14:

This explains the narrowing in front of the module:
The third area 630 may include a portion whose width becomes narrower toward the outside. In this embodiment, the top surface of the third area 630 of the second connection terminal 600 may be disposed on the same plane as the top surface of the second area 620. That is, the third region 630 and the second region 620 of the second connection terminal 600 may be part of a flat plate.

Explanation that this can be used under the screen
The optical device may include a body. The body may form the appearance of an optical device. The main body can accommodate a camera device. A display unit may be disposed on one surface of the main body. For example, a display unit and a camera device may be disposed on one surface of the main body, and a camera device may be additionally disposed on the other surface of the main body (a surface located on the opposite side of the main body). .

And finally what this module can be used for:
Optical devices include cell phones, mobile phones, smart phones, portable smart devices, digital cameras, laptop computers, digital broadcasting terminals, PDAs (Personal Digital Assistants), PMPs (Portable Multimedia Players), and navigation. Can be However, the type of optical device is not limited thereto, and any device for photographing an image or photograph may be included in the optical device.

With this, everything is ready for add-in small-nose with poLight Tlens!
Since LG Innotek is a major supplier to Apple, this might be interesting!

I hope they take the Face ID system from the iPhone and fit it into the bezels of the new iMacs (and redesigned MacBooks) so we can have automatic unlock ala Windows Hello, it's a really nice convenience.
Face ID actually makes more sense on the Mac... for starters you are always ergonomically facing it. There is also more space for the components. I can't believe Apple has taken this long to bring it to their laptops.

Sure, because behind the display cameras (or dot projectors), the only better alternative that keeps all the functionality, have turned out to work so well so far.

So no one is mentioning the elephant in the room (port less iPhone) anymore?
