I have to admit that I changed my mind. I had a 13 mini, loved the size, but zooming is terrible. So I switched to then 13 Pro. The bump is really big, but I don't bother, camera quality > camera bump for me.

I think it’s confusing to say ”size“ when refering to the camera “bump”. In this case “Size” means the foot print, not height - Bump implies height. At first, I thought the point of this story was that bump is taller.

Solution? Just call it “Camera” or “camera array” when you’re talking about the size of the square.

I’d imagine that anyone that thinks the cameras are good enough would just keep using the old phone unless it breaks.

Incorrect. I upgrade most years and am on the 13. Cameras are boring though, it’s literally one of the least important things. I don’t do much social media apart from Snapchat though so couldn’t care less about the camera differences between a 4, a 5, an XR or 13. I just like the phone to look sleek and not like a hideous xiami or rednek or whatever it’s called. The cameras on the pro looks like a tumour on someone’s arse, and the rumoured bump on the 14 pro 6.1 in particular, looks absolutely ridiculous. Won’t catch me with a phone looking that ugly, couldn’t give a toss how much better the camera specs are than the 13, as if that’s not good enough lol

But, if the camera on a 4 was good enough AND sleek, I’d think that one look at anything other than a 5 would be ‘NOPE! No longer sleek!’
