that Pro camera setup is an eyesore
This is why I have no issue with the supposedly crappy camera on this studio display.I will buy the 14 Pro Max with 8K video recording.
I will use this 8K video for FaceTime.
Which means I will be forced every morning to shave, exfoliate, wax my skin and get hair transplants.
No way am I going to film myself on 8K camera unless I look as clean and laser as Max Headroom.
Perhaps, in a surreal progression of events, apple will make the normal iPhone so irrelevant
Most iphones I see in the wild are pro models.I'd wager most people outside this forum aren't buying the most expensive model, much like the stainless Watch or 16" MBP's. This place is not the place to be looking for any sort of data.
There will be no 14 mini. I don’t know if you are joking or being serious. What about the 14 mini? 🤪
No, completely different the pro max has many more better things.I think many previous Pro Max owners will opt for the Max this time. It will be cheaper and lighter than the 14 Pro Max.
Pro series for sure… I’m so tempted by the Max but when I bought 6+ it was so obnoxious in my pockets and I’m hoping to trend toward having my phone in my hands less, not more. A shame there probably won’t be an iPhone 14 Pro More. Ya know, more than an iPhone 14 Pro, but not quite as cumbersome as an iPhone 14 Pro Max.Pro. Non-max. That's me. The Max size won't fit in any of my pockets. If I had a purse I think I would go for that, but I'm a guy that has never tried having a purse. Too old to learn new things. Lol
I can't see a $400 price difference between the iPhone 14 Max and the Pro Max. If the Pro Max were to start at $1200, then figure a $100 difference for the next Max model down. I would not be surprised if there is a $200 price difference between the iPhone 14 Max and the iPhone 14 Pro Max especially if Apple eliminates the iPhone 13.Well it is the cheaper version of the pro max. The average person is going to look at the pro max at $1200 if its at the rumoured price and then look at the max that’s $800 and think why should they pay $400 more for something that’s the same size.
i will miss it. sad that it’s getting killed offWhat about the 14 mini? 🤪
There haven't been any rumors, but they have done it several times in the past. The last one being the 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max with the camera sensor. That's why I said I hope they don't introduce something new only on the Pro Max this year.I do not know of any feature differences between the Pro and Pro Max, at least with the iPhone 13 and I have not heard of the iPhone 14 Pro Max expected to have any features the Pro will not.
That's a technicality and you know it. There was a 9.7" Pro and 10.5" Pro that are essentially the 1st and 2nd gen of the smaller iPad Pro. My point is that they call both the 11" and 12.9" iPads "Pro", but the 12.9 has a better display. All other features other than battery life are the same. Just because I opt for the smaller Pro that doesn't mean I don't want the higher end display. I will NEVER get a larger device than I have to. 11" is plenty to enjoy content on when I don't want to use my phone, computer, or Xbox. The 12.9" iPad Pro is a newer generation (5th) than the 11" (3rd), likely to account for the XDR display on the 12.9" model. I would not be surprised if the 12.9" received the XDR display first because it really only benefits content viewing and many prefer the largest screen possible for that (as we have seen with the iPhone vs. iPhone Plus/Max).
If the Pro Max did something with that extra screen real estate, I would get it, but they don't. Not like they used to with the Plus models with landscape mode in Springboard and in most apps. Apparently the added heft to the device is worth it to see their selfies and tiktoks "20% larger" and slightly longer battery life. I feel like people are going to start getting arthritis and other similar conditions earlier in life because of it. I only say that because the 12 Pro even tires out my hands occasionally. I'm almost 30, and I feel most of my age in my hands. Maybe that's just me. I'm curious how many people actually want the bigger screen or just the added battery life.Pretty simple, the 6.7-inch has 20% larger display area than the 6.1-inch model. Battery life is 25% longer. You can't put an iPad in your pocket or handbag and it doesn't have an earpiece.
Apple (still) didn't realise that when they treat a smaller phone as a second class citizen people tend not to buy it.RIP to iPhone Mini. It will be missed by so many people. I think Apple has realized people are into bigger screen phones.
Consumers who want the 'more things' can get the Pro Max. There is a very strong market for a large iPhone that doesn't cost $1,200 to start. No, completely different the pro max has many more better things.
I’ll hold onto my 13 mini until the make another. Will hang onto my 13 mini until a new mini comes out or if they never release another mini, I will bite the bullet and upgrade to a 15 Pro or 16 Pro at some point.
I buy the max size phones for the bigger screen. I specifically upgraded from the 11 pro max to the 12 pro max for the bigger display. Having my iPhone 4 stolen may have been a catalyst but bigger displays are a large part of what made me try out android. It was the bigger display of the 6 plus that made me switch back to iOS. So for me larger displays are important. I’m used to the weight. I just make some adjustments in how I hold the phone. If the Pro Max did something with that extra screen real estate, I would get it, but they don't. Also, some people can definitely fit the new iPad mini in their pocket... lol but I get your point. Maybe there really will be a market for foldable phones whenever Apple decides to release one. Samsung is doing the groundwork right now, but obviously that form factor hasn't taken off yet. It's still somewhat of a novelty.
Larger display is nice and all. But the max does suck compared to the plus phones which had full landscape.I buy the max size phones for the bigger screen.
