I Have all kinds of iCloud issues luckily I found a back up
I'm still having problems Apple needs to sort this out
iPhone 14 pro 512 storage

There are bugs, and then there are bugs which could physically damage the device. This is more serious than your standard “feature x doesn’t work” bug.
So you already know this is damaging your phone ?
Why not wait for Apple to respond to this ?
Speculations speculations and speculations .....

Also beware of some fake tik toks. I used one of the sounds from a tik tok saying the camera was broken and then when I flipped to video it did the rattle thing. But not on any other TikTok videos I used the camera on.

Very sus.

Interesting tweet on this from Halide:

According to them, it’s a hardware issue with the OIS module. I personally don’t seem to have the problem (in Instagram, anyway).
This!

If it were just a software problem everyone who opened the same apps with the same builds would have it. This is hopefully a bad batch of modules where the software makes it self-destruct. If so Apple should be able to get the affected serial numbers and get a quick recall.

These modules are a new design for the iPhone - and you know - stuff happens in the early days of production.

It’s jiggling baby go head baby 😂😂🤣 . Apple will get past this oh yes indeed they will

To be fair, a lot of people are complaining about their cameras rattling on Reddit as well. Some have even posted videos as well.
The issue is real for sure! But you don’t know if it affects your new iPhone till you get it.
I will say I'm always shocked how such a basic flaw can be missed.

I mean, if you were talking about an Excel Formula that crashed a phone, then yeah, sure. Probably 100's or 1000's of such weird hard to find issues that may gradually surface.

But as you really expecting me to believe that having test phones out with trusted employees who will be running them through the most basic tasks with some of the worlds most popular apps, no one reported a fundamental issue like this?

They must have know about this bug and decided to go ahead with the release and fix it later.
I can't believe people and testers at apple are THIS useless that they don't know about things like this.
It could very well be a hardware issue, as not everybody is experiencing this. Some assembly process error in one particular shift due to one person for example. Quality control is high, but sometimes things do slip through. I’m not apologizing for Apple! This should clearly not happen.

Why would it not appear in the camera app in this case. If it’s hardware this is sad. I want a replacement won’t get it
Who knows but modules that are exactly the same will perform exactly the same. You better hope it’s a bad batch and not all of them with only time being the deciding factor.

What I would give to be a fly on the wall at Apple today, this is not good for Apple!

Apple needs a group who get products before they are released, so they can be tested before the product gets sold, so these things don't keep happening.

Given the fact that this issue is not talked about outside of Snapchat, Instagram and Tik Tok, indicates to me that it's an app issue. Not a hardware issue. Other the Youtuber Luke Miani, I have not seen any other YT video talking about this.

In fact, I see hundreds of videos talking about how great the 14 pro cameras are.

Here's an idea...stop giving apps like these permission to access your camera. It's hilariously ironic that iOS is so privacy focused but the customers clearly don't give a damn. They also don't have deep access to camera settings like the default app has too. So yeah, they should fix this problem. But also, these users should fix their approach.
What are you even talking about ?

Happened to a forum member here scanning a code on his banking app! This isn’t a case of don’t use three popular apps.

This is too good to miss.
Tik-Tok, SnapChat and Instagram are already as shaky as they can be.
The iPhone just reveals their true character.

Then you'll never know your phone has a severe issue that will drastically degrade its resale value if left unfixed.
Well let's wait for an official statement instead off making things up about severe issues and resale value ;)

GOOD MORNING!

For what it's worth, I had this issue too with the Snapchat application.

I was trying to show Jony Ive how good of a job we did without him this year and as soon as I opened Snapchat to boast to him, my 14 P camera went nuts. It stopped after restarting the app though.

Quality workmanship on these iPhones! I was probably just holding it wrong.
Have you had it happen on any of the apps again?
