iPhone 14 Pro vs. iPhone 15 Pro: 20+ Upgrades and Changes to Expect

I'm tempted to get the S23 next month but I haven't used a Galaxy phone since 2013. Is One UI not overly complex compared to iOS? I don't really want a phone with endless menus of customisation options getting in the way of the basic settings that are actually important to me.
There is alot of customizations and I see what you mean, but to me it seems like everything that is essential that you need, is always one or two clicks away, the search bar in settings works so damn well I can find 99% things I look for through it and it points me to that exact setting every time. If I need to change my wallpaper, it is two clicks away, literally. It seems to me like there is more settings to choose from, but the basic ones are always available super fast. And if you do not need all the customization stuff, it does not bother you always being in your face. iOS is so simple to the point it is missing alot of features.

So besides the Periscope lens that could potentially get us 6x optical zoom; for one that doesn't use zoom and just the main camera, is the only difference in the 15 Pro Max just a larger sensor and potentially 2TB for said photo and videos?

Unfortunately reading the comparison between the iphone14 pm and the iPhone 15 PM there’s no must have features
Apple has payed little attention to the iPhone in the last few years which is strange since the iPhone is more than 50% of its business

There are few things that look like worth it, but cannot justify upgrading from 14 Pro unless you strike some deal

A potential reason could be if the iP15 comes with support of some cellular band that your carrier uses (and/or wants to turn on in the coming year) that your current phone does not support.

I know Dish/Boost Infinite/Project Genesis have cellular bands they would love Apple to implement.

Looks like a nice upgrade from my 12 Pro. Going Pro Max this time
I also have the 12 Pro, but not the Max version.. I'm sorely tempted to get the Max this time around if only for the periscope telephoto lens.. Also considering the 2 TB storage option if that's a real thing.. If not, I'll get the 1 TB.

I don't know if you are being sarcastic or not, specially considering the price hike (we got one already with the 14 outside the USA). The only real change is USB C, the rest is just the same of every year: lastest SoC, better camera, more RAM/Storage, few improvements here and there.
No she’s not being sarcastic. She’s big on upgrading every year.

I am is the same boat as you. I have so many lightning cables I do not know what to do with them.😄 I have a iPad mini 6th gen and I bought USB-C adapters that fit on the end of the lightning cables. I figured I can use them when I upgrade my 14 Pro Max in another 2 or 3 years.
I had to buy the adapters because my suv have USB-A, so I wouldn’t be able to use Apple CarPlay without them.

The cable change over is going to be brutal…
Cable change is going to be a relief. So sick of having to either go to an Apple store, or take pot luck on after-market cables every time one goes missing. These cables disappear like socks in a dryer.

And so much looking forward to genuine high speed data transfers. Sheesh, Lightning is beyond obsolete.

Introducing the iPhone 15 Air. It is our thinnest iPhone EVER at just 3mm thin. Since it is so thin, we've eliminated the charging port in favor of MagSafe wireless charging (sold separately). Battery life is around 1 hour on standby.
To actually make a lightweight "Air", you'd need to remove the MagSafe with it's heavy ring of magnets, not the charging port.

But yeah, an iPhone Air is a great idea!

The 2TB option would be such an ideal iPhone for me. I cannot rely on a 1TB iPhone anymore. I'm afraid I will be running out of space next year.

Apple also needs to increase iCloud storage next month.

wow how many sex videos you got on there that takes up 1.2tb, I can barely fill 120 gb on a 256gb iPhone no matter how many photos and games I dump on there.

What could you POSSIBLY have loaded on your phone locally that's more than 512 or 1TB?? In addition to cloud storage?

Do you load EVERYTHING on phone just for fun? That's a waste.

Seriously 1-2TB on a PHONE is way overkill
It’s simple:
  1. Apps are increasingly getting larger in space, especially within social media apps.
  2. If you want to listen to music without an internet connection in which you either bought from iTunes (like myself, I have a bit over 2,000 songs) by downloading them using Apple Music, or just stream music from either AM or from something else like Amazon Music or Spotify,
  3. Or if you want to take pictures & record videos in 4K,
They can become very taxing on the internal memory storage. And 1 TB & 2 TB’s of storage would definitely be sufficient for most people.

Apple's iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max are expected to be announced in less than a month, introducing over 20 upgrades and changes to surpass the iPhone 14 Pro models introduced last year.

After over a year of rumors about the upcoming devices, we have compiled all of the key differences the next-generation "Pro" iPhone models are expected to feature based on information from reliable sources like Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, DSCC's Ross Young, Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, and others. LOL. Time for me to finally upgrade from my 6s Plus.

Really tiring seeing people with current phones saying that the next one isn’t worth an upgrade. The new models aren’t for you and technology doesn’t move that quick to where every year is a major upgrade. Just hold onto your one-year-old phone and wait 2 to 3 more years.
