The biggest thing that I disliked about my old Galaxy Note 20 Ultra was the thin bezels. It made it so easy to screw up typing because the palm of my hand would touch the shift and number buttons. It happens from time to time on my 15PM, but not nearly as much. To make the Note 20 Ultra usable, I had to put a huge case on it that made it like it had bezels.
Wasn't that issue caused more by the curved display than by the size of the bezels?

That’s weird, I don’t know why Apple would want to make the two lines more similar especially since this isn’t even a technological advancement people would eventually expect to become the norm.
Could be because frosted back glass is one of the only ways Apple can boldly signal to consumers "Hey -This is very different from (non-Pro) iPhones 14. Like, look how much it's looks like an iPhone Pro but it's only $799."

Who knows, it's just a rumor.

Might also be because iPhones Pro will "graduate" to something that's even more premium than the frosted glass back.

This would also align with the rumor that SE 4 will be a 1/1 copy of an iPhone 12/13/14 in 2024 or 2025 (with latest SoC, following the tried-n-true SE formula).

The mid-range $799 iPhones has to graduate from it's current look if SE adopts the mid-range aesthetics in a couple of years.

I prefer the original iPhone 4s glass. This is what premium, classy and elegant glass feels like. Authentic 🪽

Seriously all I want is an original 4 color way (black, non frosted glass with matte silver band)

With the rumor of titanium, we may have our best chance. But they neeeeed to ditch the frost and they need to stop with the dishwater grey colors.

I’ve tried to go caseless but the iPhone has always been slippery as soap. I know everyone uses a case but if it is absolutely required to use the phone it should ship with a basic one, or at least make it an option when checking out on Apple's official site.

I use an iPhone 12 caseless and don’t have any problems. I have tried the Pros though and would need a case with the matt glass as there is zero grip.

Which might be why Apple is keen to push it on the regular iPhones. Poor design though and very much form over function.

So it’s more likely that the iPhone 16 Pro and 17 Pro will look noticeably different to help differentiate it from a budget SE that basically looks like a 12/13/14/15 Pro with a one or two lens camera.

Nooo!!!

The frosted glass on the pros was famously slick to hold. The smooth glass of the non-pro was much easier to hold onto. Why would they make the non-pro worse in this way?
Apple care + or out of warranty repairs. Cha-ching! 🤑

you just know they're absolutely SCRAMBLING for a way to raise the price by another $100.
Price hikes confirmed.

You gotta give people a reason to be okay with spending an extra $100.
It'd just have to start doing all my household chores without exception and maybe convert into a private plane
fair prices in the EU and good colors to choose from and I'm in.
The way the 14 series STARTS from 1019 €, I don't think EU will ever be back to remotely adequate prices unless the day comes they slash 40% off that lol.
