We've had prices frozen for the last 2 years, despite everything going up by 20/30%, energy by 400%.
An increase in price is inevitable, just a question of how much Apple can keep it down!
Not here in Canada, Every new version of the iPhone goes up by 100 dollars. Always has...Always will IMO.

Leave the rear glass off, replace it with something thinner and lighter and increase that battery size.

Really wish they’d prioritise having casing that is grippy. The single only reason I use a case with my iPhone is the fact it’ll fly out of my hand without one, it’s so slippery it’s farcical. A grippy device would be such a quality of life improvement it’s insane.

Slippery and feels way too slick especially when you have long finger nails or when you use your iPhone after getting out of a cold shower.
My solution is to just stick it to they body while in the shower like so:

I prefer the original iPhone 4s glass. This is what premium, classy and elegant glass feels like. Authentic 🪽

Man... while I wouldn't trade the optics of my cameras, just seeing the 4 and its flush camera bump, small size, and classic Leica-style body just fills me with fondness. What I'd give for Apple to go back to the 4-5-era phone design and just slap an all-screen front on it.

Not unless Western EU vote in economically competent governments, wokeness costs everybody 😏
I refuse to get political on a forum about rectangles with rounded corners, but the EUR/USD exchange rate is back in favor of the Euro and it's been some time since the USD was stronger and they jumped to adjust for that and add some padding. By "fair pricing" I mean charging us the same according to the real exchange rate and that's not what's going on. 799 USD is 728 EUR currently no matter how you look at it and even when you take out the 20% VAT, there's some $100 dollars lost in translation on an already unremarkable product that has no selling point over its predecessor apart from a car crash detection feature that doesn't even work as intended and is unavailable in the vast majority of Europe's countries. I say it as a fan of the company who lives here that it simply doesn't make sense anymore and many, many others agree with that. Europe is Apple's second biggest market and treating Europe right should be quite important to them.

I have an iPhone 13 Pro and my wife has a standard iPhone 14. We're pretty sure this is peak iPhone for us. Assuming we stick with Apple going forward, we'll likely opt for more downmarket models. If we eventually settle for SEs, so be it. Enough is enough. Apple's need to impress Wall Street is at odds with our need to remain liquid.

I would love to see the new SE be in the 11 chassis with new internals and dual cameras. I may forgo the 15 and get that instead.

So with the Pro’s strongly rumoured to be getting titanium, maybe it is yet to be leaked that the standard 15 will be getting stainless steel as well as the frosted glass ?

I am still on the iPhone X.

I had been holding out for a lighter titanium Pro Max iPhone (15) but I doubt it will match the weight of the 14 Plus. Furthermore, lately the grippyness of the 14 Plus together with its almost impossibly light weight has caught my attention (despite the lack of 120 Hz) and I was now waiting for the dynamic island equipped 15 version. Damn.

I just might be getting the 14 Plus , come September. The midnight one. I will somehow stomach the notch knowing that it’s the last glossy glass version.

Maybe the 16 Plus will never exist if the 15 Plus continues to sell as bad as the 14 Plus. Which in my book would make the 14 Plus the best Plus iPhone ever made… sans USB-C though. 😩
