women can tell the difference in length and width quite well. even the slightest changes.. or so at least according to a published study. personally I look to strengthen my arms in the gym so that I can hold my phone with more ease 🤷♂️
When I gain or lose 10% weight that’s certainly substantial.Exactly - since when is <10% difference, "substantial"?![]()
The 16 Pros will be taller (same width), the 15 Pros stay the same, only the bezels are getting a bit thinner and hence also the outer dimensions, by a millimeter or so.I'm blanking out. Does the 15 pro max have a slightly larger screen or were the rumors that the 16 going to increase the size to almost 7"?
I empathize, I feel a little jealous too lol.So the PM is 19 grams lighter… likely not noticeable for me…
it makes perfect sense. they dont care in the slightest about the environment and only care about money. For a company that claims to care so much about the environment, it makes no sense the way Apple tweaks the size of every new model so that all previous cases and many accessories get dumped in the trash when the user upgrades.
Just as you 'BradMacPro' I also have an iPhone 12 and would like to upgrade to 15 pro (???) up until now I've been able to utilise previous iPhone charging power adapters but now I/we will have to purchase a £19/$19 charging adapter, this to me is utterly wrong. Where will it end, say we need a new shaver, electric tooth brush ECT, ECT we can't do what Apple says we can do, because the iPhone 15 only has a USBC cable in the box with the iPhone.🥴🥴I was going to not consider upgrading my iPhone 12 Pro Max to the heavier iPhone 14 Pro Max, but if this information is correct, the 15 Pro Max will in fact by 7 grams lighter than my 12 Pro Max, restoring it to a contender for me.
I think they care about the environment only when it intersects with their financial interests, so yes, ultimately it is about the money. Using renewable energy to power their server farms, etc. makes good business sense given that energy costs are only headed in one direction. I applaud their use of renewables, but I don't for a minute believe it's about the environment.it makes perfect sense. they dont care in the slightest about the environment and only care about money.
what? the iphone doesn't change its weight while holding, no kidding? There is a video I have watched that discusses something about weight... I can't remember who it was but...
The weight of the iPhone is constant, however, we get tired the longer we hold it in our hands...
I just wish they keep the flat sides for smaller phones and use the rounded edges for bigger ones... They may introduce a mini iPhone sometime in the future...
I suspect it’s to compensate for the slightly smaller outer dimensions (due to the thinner bezels), and also for the camera bumps to appear slightly less ridiculous.the thickness is a huge disappointment.
iPhone 15 | iPhone 14 | iPhone 15 Pro | iPhone 14 Pro | iPhone 15 Pro Max | iPhone 14 Pro Max | |
Thickness | 7.8mm | 7.8mm | 8.25mm | 7.85mm | 8.25mm | 7.85mm |
Length | 147.6mm | 146.7mm | 146.6mm | 147.5mm | 159.9mm | 160.7mm |
Width | 71.6mm | 71.5mm | 70.6mm | 71.5mm | 76.7mm | 77.6mm |
Weight | 171 grams | 172 grams | 188 grams | 206 grams | 221 grams | 240 grams |
And it will be 10 percent lower as you make the payments on a 15 Pro Max! 😉I definitely notice if my paycheck is 10% higher or 10% lower.
People shouldn't be upgrading every year anyway and if they do they can easily afford a new case. For a company that claims to care so much about the environment, it makes no sense the way Apple tweaks the size of every new model so that all previous cases and many accessories get dumped in the trash when the user upgrades.
I agree that people shouldn't be upgrading every year. My comment had nothing to do with being able to afford something.People shouldn't be upgrading every year anyway and if they do they can easily afford a new case.
