Took 10 minutes to get into Apple Store app. Kept getting error with iPhone Upgrade Program. Had my cousin order my iPhone under my account from his computer and no issues on his end. Order finally placed 20 minutes in and getting iPhone 15 Pro on launch day.

Same order, but placed mine on my Mac. It wasn't immediately obvious where to click to complete the order until I scrolled to the bottom of the page. Decided at the last minute to pick up at an Apple Store nearby to avoid problems with home delivery.
You would think the ordering process would get better year after year and instead it gets worse.

Preorder immediately after announcement. First three attempts keep saying I’m talking too long to respond. 4th attempt lets me go forward with payment and then says it failed. Then kicks me out. Then the next 50 something attempts say the store is down or they can’t find my trade-in device. Then finally at 7:24am my time it brings up my preorder and processes in seconds as if there was never a problem to begin with. And I’m getting it the 22nd.

What a cluster. App came up and my saved order for my Apple Card was gone. Had to go to the website to retrieve it. Was able to place an order for 9/22 delivery.
App now is back to “We can’t wait either”.

iphone app wasn’t working for me, finally got through via website on my ipad. Delivery date for mine was still 9/22

How did people set up pre-orders ahead of time? I did that last year but the Store app never gave me the opportunity. All it ever showed me was price information. Fortunately I got my two orders in quickly before the store went down again, but I am curious how people managed to setup up pre-orders ahead of time.
Nothing worse than getting up early and on time only to be continually kicked to the back of the line. Finally got the order through the web site and shipping has slipped to early October. Really effing pisses me off.

Took until after 5:20am in Seattle for the store to come up on desktop browser or phone app. Still arriving 9.22 for White 512GB Pro.
Only way it worked for me was using the website in Safari. Neither the app or Chrome browser let me move forward.

Finally got in 26 mins after the hour. Multiple errors. But got one ordered Pro Max Blue 1TB, delivers on sep 22nd. Maybe the upgrade program pre order helped idk.
For my iPhone 15 Pro Max I switch to the Apple website on my phone, and was able to order for store pick up on Day One. For my wife’s iPhone 15 Pro. I was finally able to get the app to work. I think a lot of this has to do with the trade-in system. She’s not on iPhone upgrade, but I am, both of us had issues up till about 8:25 Eastern time
