iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro Models Now Available for Pre-Order

I am livid. Up at 5am per usual and order using my Apple account balance. It won’t take it and trying to charge as a credit card. Call Apple yeah we know about it. Trying to push it through by switching me to a team member that can do it. Disconnected. After hour and a half wait. This is the worst ever. Never had this problem before. I am on hold again calling back for another 50 min wait. Apple screwed so many for launch day using Apple balance. Showing Oct 9-16 now.

Never EVER again will I use Apple balance again after this on a pre order.

Man that was rough, 25 minutes after start time but I luckily got my order in! 15 Pro Max 512GB Natural Titanium. Got worried as last year was such a breeze, was in and out in less than 5 minutes.
 
Was starting to get worried myself when I made it to the place order page and then it times out. After about 20min I tried on my MacBook and breezed right on through getting it launch day
 
Does Anyone else have their order showing the October ETA?

Ah, come on now LedRush. You're starting to make me nervous LOL 😅 I am moving down from a 1TB Pro Max 13 to a 512GB Pro Max 15 after noticing that despite using my iPhone for two years and having a 300GB Photos library in iCloud, I really am only using around 200GB of storage on my phone at any one time (due to "Optimize iPhone Storage" being on and judiciously throwing away old podcasts in Overcast). If I shoot video that I don't need to save in iCloud, I just offload it to local storage. So I am praying that giving myself about 250GB of headroom this time is going to be enough for this next two years. But your comment sure hit my worry button ahaha.

Coming from a blue 12 Pro to the blue 15 Pro, skipped 13 and 14 because I didn’t like the sierra blue and no blue 14 pro. Going to also be putting in a blue case 🟦

Yea, i ordered a few models here in Switzerland. Good thing is, only at MediaMarkt and Apple I had to give them my credit card. For all the others, that’s ~200-300 profit per phone (and miles, of course). I also hope to get a Natural though. Otherwise I will stick to White

Mine didn't decline but did ask me to approve it.
Show's pending which is a preauth that should fall off I guess in a few days before they actually charge the card that amount.

Yessssss! I’m in the same position. I’m one of the rare breeds nowadays whom downloads Apple Music files so that when I’m on the NYC subway or somewhere with no service, I can still listen to music. That’s why I got the 1TB version.

Darn! I don't remember seeing the option to get an unlocked version of the iPhone Pro Max 15 i just ordered from the Apple Store website (I am on ATT). Maybe I shouldn't have been in such a hurry LOL 😅

This. Did the whole preorder prep thing, and tried using the site and the app to see which one was better. Got in via the app maybe 3 minutes after stuff supposedly went live. Those who took quite a bit longer are probably the ones whose shipping estimates have slipped.

I had the same issue last night when I tried to do the pre-order pre-order.I added the phone to my cart applied my gift card balance and put the rest on a credit card and when I tried to save it, it reverted to a full credit card payment. I then deleted it from my account and tried over and the same issue happened. I had over $500 on my gift card balance, and was frustrated. I called in last night and they said don’t worry that when you place the order tomorrow your gift card balance will work… And it did. I just wasn’t able to do it all before hand though.
 
Totally understand the frustration of some. I feel like every year that I try to get a phone on Launch day, I have to use a completely different method. Last year the App was totally fine, this year the app didn't show my pre-selected phone which would have forced me to manually select from scratch. I ended up aborting and using my Mac which properly showed my saved device.


I am at the point that I have my iPad Pro, MacBook Pro, and iPhone staged and ready to use for my order 15 minutes before the store goes live.

Thankfully I went for an unpopular model (it appears) so was able to get day 1 pickup option.

We are a funny lot when it comes to colours, no? I have really enjoyed my Sierra Blue Pro Max 13 and am hoping I will be pleased with the new Titanium Blue I just ordered. But more to the point, I have decided *not* to buy an Apple Watch 9 for myself and upgrade from the beautiful blue Apple Watch Series 7 with a blue/green two-tone band I am now wearing, simply —and oddly enough— because I don't care for any of the colours they offer this year. This blue Series 7 is such a stunning colour IMO.

Whew... This year was even more chaotic but I was able to complete the pre-order checkout thank goodness. And since there was no Gold option nothing to flip/flop over so went with blue :p:p:apple::apple::apple:

Last time I had that same issue. It didn't like Apple Pay, so I avoided it this year by choosing a different card. They probably don't want to pay back that 3% cash back. 3% of 1,000,000 iPhones sold today is a lot of $$$$$$$$$
