Well since this is a rumors site, I see nothing weird about speculating on rumors.
Each to their own obviously but I gave up watching them last year. Used to always watch the on-stage keynotes live but the presenters they have now come across so stiff and dull with no ad-libbing or deviation from the script at all.
It's a fad that will pass. And then in 10 years someone will say...let's do it pre-recorded! And the cycle will begin again.

Yeah I felt it made it worse. Like I get the people want to continue to get their credentials to go, but you don't have to clap when they announce a new color for the iPhone, it's nothing groundbreaking. To me it made it feel like one of those bought and paid for endorsements. I like the new format much better.
They have to keep earning their credentials so what better way than making even the smallest things seem so amazing.
The applause was simply for the prices of the Pro Display XDR being significantly lower than the reference monitors they had talked about i.e., Apple was able to create a comparable product (at least in their view) for a fraction of the price. It didn't mean everyone applauding was going to rush out and buy one.
My preference, make the tech specs and pricing available upfront eg for downloading and then let me jump to those products that I really care about…
