It scratches so easy with even your fingernail, I returned mine. I didn't think it would last quality wise through the 14 day return policy, same price got a Mujjo leather case.

After 24 hours with the FW, I'm sold on it. It's soft, light, slips into the pocket easily, looks great, and offers me a sense of protection. If I had one negative to say, I think the sides feel a littler slippery -- I'm coming from a silicone case on my last phone, so that might be me.

Agreed! After hearing to so many rant on the case and how cheap they look, I was expecting a bad product but when I saw and felt it in person, I thought it looked fine.

I got a black one and it’s fine. Felt a little cheap off the phone, but once on the phone it feels great. It’s not leather, but different isn’t necessarily bad.

I did spray some waterproofing spray on it, not sure how well it will work. Not sure about the durability of the case either, but time will tell. I’m not too rough on my phones, so it may not be an issue at all.

Once I put the FineWoven case on my iPhone 15 Pro, I was sold. Really. That sounds weird based on most of the 15 pages here.

I’ve been carrying it in my pocket for a day and a half now. I went on a pretty intense hike, taking it in and out of my pocket to take photos, and it held up very well.

Long term? Who knows. Sure, it’s not leather. But then again, neither am I.

After using it for two days with the phone, I think I’m sold. I have the Mujjo leather but that doesn’t feel as good or slim in the hands compared to FW.

I took it to the gym and used it like I would with my older Apple cases and it held up alright. Made an accidental nail scratch when I picked it up off the floor but I rubbed it a bit and a few hours later it doesn’t look as noticeable.

Nice. I have the mujjo also and I’m a little bit torn between it and the finewoven. I like how the leather feels in the hand but have you noticed the button and cutouts are not centered along the middle of the case? Bugs my ocd a bit.

Having used it for a day I don’t mind the finewoven. Sometimes the microtexture feels nice other times it feels a little unpleasant lol. Not dramatically but a bit.

I’m also not so bothered by the scratch tests and wear tests. Every case gets a little beat up over time, that’s what they’re there for. The leather cases of the past few years have the edges darkening. The silicone cases become worn in sports and flake off, other tpu cases can collect scuffs etc. it’s up to you how much that ‘patina’ bothers you. At the very least a case can be replaced every few months or year if you’re no longer happy with the wear.

Overall I think it’s nice enough but I’m just not sure if I should keep it or the mujjo leather lol I’m tempted to keep the finewoven and see how it wears over time and if I feel like it’s distinctly mine due to the wear or if it just feels raggedy

I've had mine on my phone since I unboxed it yesterday and have been out and about with it today. I have to say I do like it, and it's working out just fine going in and out of my pocket with my old leather MagSafe wallet stuck to the back.

Yes!!! I was comparing it to the FW side by side and that definitely bugged me.

I’m leaning towards keeping the FW and returning the Mujjo.
Same here. Not a fan of the Mujjo at all. If people want to talk about bad quality, that’s a case to talk about. Buttons aren’t aligned. Mine has raised bumps near them too. Leather looks and feels plastic. And that camera bump. Awful. Definitly not a premium feel up close IMO. Which is a shame. Mine is going back.

Durability aside, as that remains to be seen, the FW case is the typical good quality build (taking personal opinions of the material aside). Everything is aligned, holds up to close scrutiny etc etc.

I returned my FineWoven today.

I didn’t mind the fabric backing. It doesn’t come close to leather, but it was fine.

The real turn off for me were the lose buttons, they really made a $1100 phone feel cheap

The leather case had much higher quality feeling & looking buttons

Purchased a finewoven case today and took it out of the box at the Apple Store and it scratched immediately. Apple employees could not even believe how easily it scratched. Really too bad and don’t why an innovative company like Apple that strives for perfection would even introduce this in the marketplace. Especially to replace leather.

Returned mine today. For craps and giggles I went over to the case section and almost every one had deep scratches on it like people were testing it out lol.

I only used mine for half a day and there were scratches that I couldn’t remove. Just was not impressed especially with such a high asking price.

I am genuinely happy for those that enjoy theirs, just not my cup of tea.

I wonder if people en-masse goes to Apple Store previously to scratch leathers. I feel like this is a test of new materials and new ideas.

Maybe Apple should’ve kept selling leather alongside. Positioning it as a direct replacement invites extremely high expectations.

I mean, the issue is that these scratch permanently with almost no pressure at all. I was amazed at how little pressure was needed to make a permanent mark. It’s almost nothing. It’s a shame because otherwise I really like the cases.

My case arrived a few days early and I thought it felt cheap and crappy - was ready to return it and get something else from a third party.

After putting my 15 Pro in and using it for a couple of days, total 180 - it fits the phone fantastically. It's light, fits the rounded glass super well, and the fabric is a lot more fun than TPU. I'm definitely keeping mine, would recommend anyone who hasn't to actually try using one when it's put on a phone.

I don't really care that much about the back scratching - the whole point is that it'll wear instead of the phone. Leather does the same.

I find the FineWoven case… fine. It is not fantastic and it is overpriced… but it is also light, doesn’t add much bulk and doesn’t feel as bad to me as it apparently does to many others. Better than Apple’s last leather cases? I think so.

My attitude exactly. It fits the phone great, it feels nice, and I’m interested to see how it wears over time without me scratching it up on purpose with my fingernails.
