I have a black Finewoven case and I’m starting to see a MagSafe imprint on it after using the car MagSafe mount
I'm starting to get a line where the top edge of my wallet hits, and it's in the exact same spot I got a line on my 14 Pro Max leather case. My leather case also had a partial imprint of the round Apple MagSafe charger on the back. I have the ESR 3 in 1 nightstand charger now, so I'm expecting over time there will be a weird looking rectangle imprint on the back of my FineWoven. That magnet grabs on pretty aggressively. I don't mind that stuff at all--I kind of like when the MagSafe markings develop on the back.

Have both cases side by side. The buttons look practically identical in every way except the colour. Shame yours are loose though!
Care to take a photo?

The buttons on my FineWoven could be wiggled very easily & they didn’t line up straight.

Yet the buttons on my leather case were rock solid.

Maybe my case was defective?

You might have a defective case if they wiggly easily. Visually though, there really is no difference in how the buttons look. Same apparent material and finish.

Received my FM case yesterday and I am amazed how different the color is in person vs Apple's stock photos. I ordered the Pacific Blue and in person it is so much darker than I was expecting. Which I personally like more. Now to see if I mar it up and destroy it by just touching it.

I kinda like the texture of the case, but mine is very slightly loose so that it creaks and ‘gives’ a little when you push on it slightly, especially around the top left corner. Anyone else have this issue or did I just get a bad one?

I do not have that issue and my buttons have no wiggle in them either.

Apple added cleaning instructions to the cleaning page. I wonder how much these will help, it seems like a lot of work to clean a phone case. I’ll try down the road and see how it looks after. I cleaned my leather cases a few times a year, will probably do the same with the FW.

Me too from MagSafe charging overnight. But I got them on the leather too, so it was expected and never bothered me. It’s very faint and can only be seen at certain angles and lights.

Anyone have an issue with the cutouts at the bottom being slightly misaligned? I like the case, but these cutouts make it look like a cheap knockoff. Trying to decide if I should swap it, or if a replacement might have the same problem. I have a 15 Pro with Fine Woven.

Mine is similar around the charging port, it is skewed to the left like yours. I can also see part of the screw. Around the speakers mine seems fine

My cutout is off the left too.
Speaker and mic are ever so slightly off so passable. I wasn’t going to do anything about it coz it fits nice and tight and the buttons aren’t wobbling but I’m going in store Wednesday and I’m going to get a replacement. And also not leaving the store until they give me a perfect case! 😂

One thing I noticed about mine: once I slipped the iPhone Pro into it, I had to make sure it was snapped and secure all the way around. It felt tight before, but needed an extra snap. It’s a pretty tight fit. The buttons don’t wiggle at all, but they do if the phone is not fully snapped in place.

Just an observation. It’s far from a perfect case, but it’s not quite as bad (to me) as the reviews seem.

My black FW case fits perfect, cutouts and buttons, if its not then I would get it exchanged ASAP. As for what I think its ok. I wouldn't say its equivalent to the Leather cases but its fine, we'll see how it stands up to the test of life.

I’m definitely the minority here, but I kind of like mine. The faux suede texture is actually kind of nice and different. The sides were slick at first but have become grippy with use. Only complaint is that it feels too bulky, but this is typical with all Apple cases.
I prefer a slimmer profile; i might return it for something thinner

tbh I think the main thing for most people is the two different textures or the border between them that's off putting.

Yup - mine does, and it means that several USB-C cables (including my Apple Watch cable) don't fit. Only Apple's thin ones do.

Kudos to apple for fine woven material imo. I’m in the camp that likes the case, but I fully expect it not to hold up over time. However, I do really enjoy how it feels (soft) vs plasticy cases I have used for over the last 10 plus years. I’ve had leather cases too but never REALLY liked them and they really didn’t hold up over time for me (my last leather case was the black folio wallet for iPhone 11 Pro Max, which I had on for 1 year ish)

Didn’t believe the noise that they weren’t up to standard. Received mine and opened box to find it scratched. There was no seal on box so maybe I was shipped a returned item?
