View attachment 2279991Didn’t believe the noise that they weren’t up to standard. Received mine and opened box to find it scratched. There was no seal on box so maybe I was shipped a returned item?
I could be wrong but, that doesn't look like a fingernail scratch. My box was sealed but, with handling by various people I suppose it is possible the seal could have come off. I seriously doubt that was a return. Too early for that.

Got home from my work trip and came home to my natural titanium beauty. Amazing color. Finally got to put the FW cases on them. They genuinely feel good but I’m still not sold. Will give it a few more days to decide if I’ll keep or return.

The evergreen is probably my fav

I’m undecided. I got it. Put it on, hated it. Threw my pikata case on. And then this morning I wanted to try it again. Threw an apple sticker that almost matches the titanium color on it and have been rocking it all day. I think I like it a little now

Would love to see some pictures from FW Cases from the front and the bottom. The front can show if all those cases really fit (or misaligned buttons) and the bottom can show, if the cutout does fit or not...

I think Apple does have huge production issues so that many say, it doesn't fit and others say everything is fine... That would be crazy, as Apple has one of the best QC in mass production.

I'm going to rock the FW just to see how bad it gets, seeing that it apparently gets permanent scratches after 5 minutes of ownership.

Anyway, I know what it fits like, and I don't want to play case lottery. I'll just use the fuzzy case. Also, I'm lazy.

I have my black one now 3 days on the phone (including one drop), and it looks as new. Just one really small scratch, barely noticeable. So far I am happy.

They all look great to be honest. Could you share a front pic of the phone in the silicone clay please?

iFixit put the FW to the test!

The microscopic view is pretty interesting and how it’s similar to a Patagonia jacket.

I applied sneaker water proofer to mine and it seems to propel water and minor stains quite well.

Getting the evergreen today to replace my mulberry as it’s too similar to the Mujjo burgundy leather.
Imagine having that coffee, oil and hot sauce soaked into your case 🤮

Tried the FW case on a 15 Pro and it works fine but on my 15 Pro Max the volume down button is too easy to press and I kept turning the volume down by mistake. I bought a new 3rd party case and it works fine. I wonder if this is a design flaw? If you have one try lightly resting your finger on the volume buttons and see if the volume down is too sensitive.

Anyone have an issue with the cutouts at the bottom being slightly misaligned? I like the case, but these cutouts make it look like a cheap knockoff. Trying to decide if I should swap it, or if a replacement might have the same problem. I have a 15 Pro with Fine Woven.

Mine is similar around the charging port, it is skewed to the left like yours. I can also see part of the screw. Around the speakers mine seems fine

My cutout is off the left too.
Speaker and mic are ever so slightly off so passable. I wasn’t going to do anything about it coz it fits nice and tight and the buttons aren’t wobbling but I’m going in store Wednesday and I’m going to get a replacement. And also not leaving the store until they give me a perfect case! 😂
Where are your FineWoven cases made from? China, Thailand, Vietnam? I wonder whether it's a result of poor QA/machinery misalignment from one of their accessory manufacturers.

Welp I was kinda liking the fw case for its soft feel and thinness. But I was taking my phone out of the pocket and it slipped from my fingers, fortunately phone is fine but the screen protector I had cracked along the top of the phone

I think that will do it for my fw experiment lol I was considering using the case for most of the year to see how it ages etc. but this slipperiness experience might have sealed the deal on a return

So many negative reviews of this case. I originally had an Evergreen FW case ordered but cancelled it due to the negative reviews. Was at the Apple Store on Saturday to trade in my old phones and looked at these cases. I’m glad I cancelled the Evergreen because it is too dark of a green for me and I instead picked up a Pacific Blue.

I’ve been using it 3 days now and really like it. I haven’t gone out of my way to attempt to scratch it though because I wouldn’t do that with any other case so why would I do that with this case?

I would consider it, but I like speck cases more so just going with that. The Apple silicone case is not bad though.
Speaking of garbage...Speck lol.

Everything Apple makes is "overpriced" so if that's the problem and the primary objection, fine. But what case doesn't either get scratched, show fingerprints and smudges, crack, separate along the moldings, etc.? If, after six months, your phone case looks as pristine as the day you bought it, I'd argue you don't need a case at all.

Oh boy. After using the Apple Leather case for years, I got the FineWoven today, took it out of the box, touched the material (that already looked static coming out of the box) and returned it immediately. If it were actually feeling like ballistic/tactical nylon, Goretex, a DEFY bag, whatever... maybe. But this pseudosilkysmooth stuff feels weird, lacks grip and will attract dust and dirt like crazy. Very sad about this development, much as I applaud going CO2-neutral, and I wonder how ESG this step is as I have to order multiple cases (most of which will not be returnable) to find an alternative.

I don’t see BMW or Mercdes eliminating leather in their cars because they are Luxury
Isn’t the iPhone 15 Luxury??????
To most people it is. And as a Luxury item we want a Luxury Case. Fine woven does not fit the bill

"The BMW Group will launch its first cars with completely vegan interiors as early as next year. This is mainly possible by developing innovative materials with leather-like properties."

"Mercedes-Benz’s new electric car, the VISION EQXX, reduces its carbon footprint by 50% by replacing leather with animal-free materials."

They are all working on it.

Not sure why Apple didn't go the "vegan leather" route.. there are some pretty good options now. Probably too expensive for them.

Vegan leather wouldn’t allow Apple them sell them for a price that’s both palatable and keeps with their expected profit margin.

I don't understand all the hate for the cases.

I've been using mine since launch day and I actually love it. it doesn't feel cheap to me at all, it feels premium. looks rather premium too. if you look closely at all it almost has a fine denim like texture to it, until you hold it and realize it's a very soft velvety material. I don't feel that combo to be cheap at all

it feels much more premium than apple's silicone cases, which alone are $49.

and to those running their fingernails across the cases and being disappointed at the marks left behind, you do realize that this is not surprising at all? same would happen (maybe more or less) to the leather cases.

BTW: where did you get those small titanium colored apple stickers?
