In Sweden 15PM 256GB costs same as 14 PM last year. So, the base version is around $1620.

Apple today announced that the iPhone 15 Pro Max starts at $1,199 in the U.S. with 256GB of storage, which means the 128GB configuration for $1,099 that was offered for the iPhone 14 Pro Max is no longer available.

The smaller iPhone 15 Pro continues to start at $999 with 128GB of storage in the U.S., just like the iPhone 14 Pro.

All of the new iPhone 15 models are available to order starting Friday, September 15, and will launch on Friday, September 22 in more than 40 countries and regions around the world, Apple said.

Still "delivery: currently unavailable" in Canada

I'll be going with the 256 Pro Max coming from a X
Looks like no price increase and figured they'd drop the 128GB since it can't do ProRes
No Titan Gray darn it. The Natural looks like it could be Gold for the ones that wanted a gold phone.
Now I guess it's the Black for me or maybe the Blue.
I got a couple of days to decide.

For Pro models, Indian prices went up by $100-130 making it the most expensive in the whole world. Anyway we show middle finger to Apple and get ours from US.

"technically not a price increase" ha this is absolutely a price increase...I'd bet the majority of people were buying the $1100 base model. Now they're forced to spend $100 more even if they don't care about the extra storage. Apple makes huge margins on storage upgrades, so they're definitely getting more value out of it than you are.

(I say this as someone who will be preordering it on Friday)

I was foolish to think their storage upgrade prices wouldn’t be as crazy this year, but nope, same as last year — despite plummeting storage prices.

In a way, the price did increase — we’re paying Apple a higher rate for storage than we were a year ago.

Nope. I think Apple will give us full camera features for the higher storage option like 13 pro cinematic mode

Exactly. I do not understand why people say there's no price increase.
Yes, IT IS a price increase. If you were fine with 128GB, now you have to pay $100 more to get more storage.
They made the base Pro Max SKU for $1199 instead of $1099 which is a price increase AND I'm pretty sure they'll do the same next year with regular Pro - base SKU for $1099 instead of $999

Well, another nice but uneventful update. Zero incentive to buy, but a fine update nonetheless.

IPhones (for me) have become a tool. A necessary tool but only replaced when the former tool brakes down, and even then if it cannot be economically fixed. Only if these conditions occur I replace it with the latest generation.
