Gotta hype up the manufacturing issue every year so when they raise the price (probably this year) they can use that as reason. Also, if LG continues to have issues, ditch them and just use Samsung. LG panels are inferior to Samsung and have been for years. Or if nothing else, keep the trash LG panels on the non-pro models.

I plan on getting a 15Pro and the thinness of these bezels compared to my iPhone11 are going to look like night and day.
What about "Disk Doubler? it was a thing on my Mac Performa, and my hot running PowerBook 5300 (MASSIVE 500MB Internal HD LOL). Ran a metricom/rocochet radio modem on that and it was sweet and amazing. In 1999 I posted pics of GGBridge from Alcatraz. The first taste of what we have now with cellular.

I'm going to upgrade because I have the 12 pro, but it definitely looks like an "S" type of update. This would be a perfect opportunity to increase the thickness to significantly increase battery life. They can make it 20% thicker, but it won't feel like it because titanium is so much lighter than steel.
That alone would be a welcome change. I will admit, the only things I don’t like about my PM are the weight and battery life.

In many countries it works out much more expensive to buy a phone through your carrier. Sure, if your bank account is almost empty it's a handy way to buy what you can't afford right now, but over 24 months you always lose out. Are there many countries where you don't lose out overall by buying through a carrier?

Weird. It's not like Apple is the first one to introduce ultra small bezels on a smart phone.
Have you looked at the Android phones out there? The vast majority have chins on them or bezels that are definitely thicker at the bottom of the phone. The Nothing Phone 1 was an instant buy from me as it was completely symmetrical with the bezels. I couldn’t get that even from a $1200 Samsung Ultra. I think iPhone now has the smallest bezels.

What I still hate is the whole notch/dynamic island design language. I would gladly take a fingerprint reader on the power button over having that huge cutout. A nice simple hole punch design would be fabulous.

To me the reason to buy this year while owning a 14PM will be:
Titanium frame with rounded edges
USB C
Better telephoto camera
Smaller bezels (more advanced appearance)
Will buy outside the USA so I get a SIM card tray! Hate my US iPhone 14PM with no SIM potential. And I don’t care who thinks it’s great when they’re not traveling eight months out of the year and don’t understand that it’s way easier to just have SIM cards when traveling and don’t want to spend $1k per month roaming internationally with Verizon. And a SIM card version still does eSIM!!! So not like I can’t use eSIM when it’s available.

YEP!!!

I pulled the optical drive on my 2010 MBP, put in a 240GB SSD (now its too small) and used the space where the optical drive was to put my old 320GB HD, that's used as digital media storage for music and photos.

Would you believe shes still ticking along. It was originally a work machine but now its just used to sync my devises with itunes and browse the web. Battery is drained almost completely but would rather put that $100ish dollars towards a new macbook at the end of this year or early next.

It works fine always plugged in with me sitting on my couch.

There’s a rumor that the SIM tray will be removed from the 15 lineup in Canada and Europe.

Crazy to me how many posts talk about a case. I haven’t used a case since the iPhone 6. Y’all don’t get apple care + and rock it naked? So much easier to hold and use with no case. It’s already heavy and thick as it is, a case just makes it even bulkier. No thank you.
