Did anyone mentioned or did anyone forget that Apple holds rights to use “LiquidMetal”. Considering we have LiquidRetina Displays we may see LiquidMetal finally being used in a shipped product. The design will not resemble the 2021 MBP or 2022 MBA, instead will resemble the latest iPod Touch that has since been discontinued. That was a slick design and always wanted that language to make it to an iPhone. With LiquidMetal glass will not be needed as antenna’s signals can work without problems and I expect the same with Qi/MagSafe and no physical buttons. I expect LiquidMetal will reduce weight, add strength/durability and either it will be thinner compared to iPhone 14 Pro or the thickness will be used for additional battery capacity.

Win for LiquidMetal vice any form of glass on the rear shell.

The only redesign that’s going to happen with iPhone 15 Pro/Max is to improve repairability. People hoping for a form factor refresh will be disappointed.

iPhone 14 received major internal redesign with the removable rear glass. They’ll likely bring that over to the 15 Pro/Max.

On the other hand, the 16 will likely be clean sheet.

iPhone 15 Pro may use LiquidMetal while the regular 15 will still use a glass rear shell. From a durability, weight, repair ability perspective LiquidMetal is a win as it will not need to be replaced due to damage. No repair equals best repair.

At 8% of the iPhone sales share, the iPhone Mini probably sold many times more than any Google Pixel, and probably anything at all short of the Samsung Galaxy and maybe a Huawei model that never left China. That alone should justify its continued existence.

Not everything has to the best-most-seller. I've been hearing "Apple should discontinue iPad Mini" for what feels like a decade… people love them, people buy them. And if the iPhone Mini drops to a once-every-three-year cadence like the iPad Mini… that sounds great! That's exactly the right update cycle for most people and their phones.
Mini fan here, the issue with the mini is that it’s a compromised experience. People wanted Pro features in a small package. What Apple delivered is a standard compromised package either due to technical limitations or testing the market demand.

I miss the telephoto lens, ProMotion, etc. I am sure a higher density battery can me installed but that will add weight. I like a small weighted Pro phone.

I call for an iPhone 15 Pro mini with LiquidMetal, ProMotion, AOD (don’t care but whatever), denser battery, telephoto lens included and USB-C 4/TB4.

If this can be accomplished for $999 this will appeal to those looking for a mini package phone with pro features. I have an iPad Pro and MBA if I want a larger screen.
