I know the iPhone 15 will be the best iPhone yet. It makes me want to hold off getting a pro max for myself.

If Apple want to avoid negative press, they should not offer USB-C only to the Ultra or even the Pro and Ultra models.

They don’t have a choice anyway ,the inclusion of usb-c is forced by law .it’s not an improved iPhone or anything ,it’s just an iPhone that complies with the lw

Titanium and USB C? Just hope it’s not crazy expensive and only in the Pro Max size. And no ugly lumps and bumps please. Don’t like the Apple Watch ultra.

I feel like apple needs to revamp their lineup. The regular models are priced too close to the pro line. They really need to go all pro and then just have a budget phone. I would love to see:

Pro mini
Pro
Pro max

Then whatever phone they decide on that comes in at a significantly reduced price.

Or do like they used to do with the mac line:

iPhone
Iphone air (take the place of the base pro)
Iphone ultra (take the place of the current pro max).

Get rid of the pro naming since apple has diluted it so heavily.

It’s an easy guess to say that Apple may use the Ultra name for an iPhone, given they just expanded beyond MBP to the Watch. Apple would be foolish not to develop higher end (and higher cost) versions of all their products, both as a way of generating higher profits and providing more aspirational products with the additional tier offering that doesn’t currently exist. I’ll update immediately to a 15 Ultra with titanium frame, sapphire screen and larger battery, even if other elements remain similar to the 14 (which I have to say has been a great update for me coming from a 12PM).

Not really. As long as it is released prior to the date the EU set it can be lightening. If USB-C is already in the design makes sense to use it.

I’m surprised to see the positive reaction to this news. I disagree. For computers and phones, consumers should have the ability to get the best features regardless of size like with MacBook Pro and iPhone Pro. Ultra works for the watch because the target audience and use case is very specific. Do phones have another use case beyond the people who like pro phones? Maybe I just don’t understand. But I better be able to get a 6.1 inch phone with the latest features next year. 6.7 is too big for me.
