No, they don’t envy you. The 13 Pro/Max is still an amazing phone and easy pass from the 16PM for many. You are “grasping” at the minimal updates to justify and I upgrade yearly. This year is no exception going from a 15 PM to 16 PM tomorrow. I am a tech nerd and just like upgrading yearly with iPhone. It’s kinda my thing each year. Certainly not needed in the least. Tbh, this was the first year I really fought upgrading or not. Giving my 15 PM to sister from the 14 PM I gave her.

upgrading yearly is just consumerism gone wild.

i'm not grasping at all.
there are significant changes from a 13 Pro to a 16 Pro.

best part was trading in the 13 cut the cost by enough to make it worthwhile...

Perhaps maybe you should sit out a cycle or two... and then appreciate the feeling of upgrading more ;)

Well, what ever. You do you. That being said, 16 Pro/Max is a “S” model year update. The 17 Pro/Max will be the real update. I just don’t think it’s significant enough for 13 Pro/Max users to update. Had the 13 PM as well myself. I would go as far to say, IF it’s a must. The 15 PM is the better deal over the 16 PM if coming from a 13 PM.
 
I love my 15pro midnight blue color. Also like the red of my 13 mini. Not sure why Apple went to fugly this year. I’m baseless from here on out. I have AppleCare I might as well start using it.
 
Just got my 16 Pro today and it’s been stuck in the transfer process for over 30 minutes (“it may take a few minutes to activate your iphone” screen)

Transferring from a 14 Pro.

I’m now trying to find a way to restart the phone to restart the process but it seems like it’s bricked…

so now it's an S mode slur ;)

given 15 Pro isnt on sale now... and was until last week the same price as the 16 Pro is now... nah, wrong again.

you can belittle the new release as much as you want. You wont be alone on here.
still doesnt make your claims any more factual.
