I’d be happy to upgrade if they’d make a mini
Yes, better colors would've helped differentiate the 16 Pros from the 15 Pros, and maybe increase demand. Pros deserve the bright and fun colors too. Some people online who have an older Pro model have voiced interest in the 16 or 16 Plus. That tells me that Apple’s conservative approach to colors with the Pro may be starting to bite them in the Apple. If they had offered the same colors for the 16 Pro/16 Pro Max as the 16/16 Plus, demand would be higher.
There hasn’t been a notch since the 14. I’ve gotta ask how, how do you feel a hole is better than the current pill shape cutout?I really wanted usb-c, so upgrading to the 15 was worthwhile for me. If they shrink the notch to a hole, I’ll consider upgrading to the 17, but nothing compelling me to get the 16.
To me the extra couple of hours battery life, and the button is worth it
You just described me, but with a new case and glass protector, my 12 Pro is feeling like brand new. Might wait for the 17.There are people who currently have a 12 Pro, 13 Pro and even a few with a deep purple 14 Pro who are thinking about getting a 16 in ultramarine, pink or teal. That says it all.
That is only 4 more hours of watching locally stored video at 150 nits in airplane mode.Is the 4 hour extra battery not worth it?
its basically a camera now, all they do every year improve the camera, I dont want a iphone with a shutter button lmao
China isn't the only country with loyal citizens, americans also prefer American car brands vs other brandsOr simply put, the US Govt’s schizophrenic trade policy against China and its various tech entities has soured Apple’s reputation in the world’s largest smartphone market. So suck it up and leave it at that.
Followed ya till Huawei. LOLNo one could see that coming!.
Apple intelligence is soooooo uninteresting, really poor choice from Tim to go in that direction. Making phones slower and consume more battery to have messages and notes written in a different tone?. So, useless. Even the photos editor is so mediocre. iPhone will do everything AI related miserably and Apple will then get a bad rep and Huawei will succeed finally. Just not in USA, where people will continue to buy the same device year after year.
Now if they would only add 90 or 120 hz. to those models.I pretend to be shocked.
The regular 16 had more noticeable changes than the pros this year, so I’m not surprised the regulars are selling more than the pros.
create content for Apple Vision Pro - > potentially driving its sales upIt’s a solid tock release. Some of the major updates like better microphones and thermals aren’t sexy and won’t move units, but will pay dividends down the line.
FWIW I’m watching close to see why Apple included the capture button on the base models. Not doing that would increase margins for those phones and probably increase ASP’s as many would go to the pro for that feature. I think there’s a longer game here. It does nudge users to take more landscape photos and videos, but I’m not sure what Apple’s payoff would be with that 🤔
Is that truly the constraints of the data? That is only 4 more hours of watching locally stored video at 150 nits in airplane mode.
Or maybe it's because Apple Intelligence is the only standout feature and not very appealing to many people?Kuo said a major reason for the iPhone 16 Pro models having lower-than-expected demand is that Apple Intelligence will not be available on the devices when they launch on Friday.
Groupthink? At Apple? Noooo...The fact that Apple touted the Series 10 Apple Watch's "all-new" design, even though said design reads as virtually indistinguishable from the previous design, makes me wonder if they're stuck in a bit of a groupthink rut.
