What's with them being dust magnets this go round?
Ailun for my 13 mini is fine and attracts some but minor dust
Ailun (for 16Plus) and Amfilm (for 16Pro) both attracted a lot of dust after a day
Did they not round the edges enough, or is there something preventing them doing what they did with previous screen protectors?
Not the end of the world but a curious situation.
The glass on the 13 line was flat, meaning the screen protector could also be flat with no issues. They can also use very thin adhesive.
The 15s and 16s have glass that curves very slightly at the edges. This means the screen protector has to do the same, or use more adhesive there to fill the space. If left unfilled, crud collects under it (flolab). If filled, lint and dust sticks to the edges.
The solution is to bend the glass, but that process is prohibitively expensive. Whitestone used to do this for their Samsung screen protectors.
