Shipping was 12 days for me which is a lot considering waiting almost half a month for a replacement if it breaks.
Packaging was great though so I wouldn’t worry about damage doing shipping.
yeah...testing it right now :D :D :D

3 hours from installing I was putting my phone away when laying on my bed with a laptop and slightly dropped my phone like from 5cm height on the odge of my mbp = screen protector chipped ;/

so yeah...tho protectors are pretty fragile...but still better a broken flolab then screen. So like I can say it worked as intended ;)

I was wondering if anyone have used FloLab on their iPhone 15 or earlier? I’m curious to know if the anti reflective coating will wear off like the oleophobic coating over time?

Anti reflective does not wear off. Olephobic wears off and looks nasty quick on the 15
Exactly this. I had it for a while on my 15PM but it started showing all kinds of smudges and prints after about a week. Ended up switching to a Torras one that was MUCH better in that regard.

had one speck of dust under my updated flolab, which had this airbubble around it. OCD kicked in try to lift and remove, which ultimately ended up in having more dust under the protector.

So, if you are OCD perhaps cheaper options with multiple protectors in the package could work better and by any means do not try to remove a speck, it only will get worse.

I found it very easy and perfect install on first try. Few bubbles and not a single speck of dust.

It was my fault, but in the future, I would like to see Flolab implementing in their installation system a small wipe when you are pulling the protector tab to ensure that there is no dust whatsoever when the protector sticks. I believe that others have already implemented that already.

Haven’t even had the FloLab installed for 24 hours and smudges are already very very noticeable. It’s getting smudged up so damn quickly. Can’t remember having a protector getting this dirty this quick.
Mine has been on for 2 days and it's a major fingerprint/smudge magnet :( Maybe it's the anti reflective coating causing it?

That’s disappointing to hear. I’m not seeing that on the anti-reflective UltraGlass but I wonder if the coating is not as strong. I haven’t seen them side-by-side so I have nothing to compare.
Usually that’s a sign of a weak oleophobic coating.

Anyone found good screen protectors for $6 or less with good coverage, no gaps, and an oleophobic coating?

A very good post by a newbie. Well said. 👌🏽

That`s what I already said last year to the FloLab and everyone still hyped it.
I thought I will give them a try again but I am really not sure. I am quite happy with the Belkin one which I installed at home.

I only install protectors in the bathroom with a hot shower running now for this very reason - I can’t live with a single spec of dust and I’ve never been able to successfully lift and remove after the fact. The one pack ups the stakes on a clean installation either way though for sure

Quick update after some time with the updated flolab:

I can echo the sentiments about the smudges; although they are still only visible when the screen is off in most lighting situations and the glass still feels nice and slippery smooth to me. I’d put the oleophobic coating somewhere between Ferilinso (non-existent) and Caudabe (surprisingly strong). For the coverage I’ll take it every time - if the coating gets bad enough I’ll just order a replacement for $8 every 3-6 months (I plan on doing this regardless to make the initial $40 worth it).

I do agree that the glass feels extraordinary smooth. Can’t remember having a protectors feel this smooth. Would say it’s just as smooth as the original screen.

Is there an Onn with Corning glass for the 16P? I can only find one for the 16PM. The only Onn I can find for the 16P doesn't mention Corning, which as I understand it is not the one you want.

If not it looks like FloLab is the way to go. I'd prioritize having none of the screen cut off over great oleophobic coverage. Although I have an Apple store down the street for the Belkin UG, but they seem to be pretty fragile.

Yea, the updated Flolab is silky smooth :)

I'm genuinely impressed with the UltraGlass Unbreak screen Protector, i have this one. It's edge-to-edge coverage, thin design, and smooth surface are top-notch. Minimal smudges and easy installation, and it's nicely packaged. No complaints here!

Maybe some close up shots on where it counts please?
