I’m confused. What’s the difference between this Ultraglass and this other one?

The second one, I believe, is both anti-reflective and anti-glare. The one I have seems to be the latest version available.

Also, there's additional details from the description from the one i purchased, here it is;

  • 【Invisible Protection, 1:1 Full Covers the iPhone's Screen】Simulating iPhone's screen design, UltraGlass envelops the screen's every curve with a reinforced 1:1 3D curved black edge, getting the most vulnerable screen edge fully covered. Also, it is visually invisible as it blends seamlessly with the 16 Pro Max screen.

Thanks! Also, have you used it with any other case apart from the Pitaka? Wondering if there’s a risk of cases lifting it up.

Before the Pitaka case, I used the Caudabe Sheath. I didn't have any issues with lifting, but just handle it with care.

Today I had Apple install the Belkin UktraGlass 2. It has no rainbowing or edge lift. It’s the exact fit I’ve expected. It’s just like my old 14 Pro.

I have installed and returned multiple and I mean multiple Belkin UltraGlass 2 protectors on my iPhone 16 Pro and ‘EVERY’ single one has at least one spec of dust under it. Admitably it may be my OCD as they are only visible at certain angles or under certain light as they are tiny but is anyone else having the trouble I’m having or even take the effort to look for dust specs that don't cause an air bubble? Not just with this protector but in general? Sure I never had this issue before with previous phone’s using ESR protectors. I know I can go to store to have it done but I’m an hour away from my most local one so have had to settle with a ‘few’ minuscule dust specs. I like to think I have gained veteran installation skills for this kind of thing over the years but I feel like a newbie at it currently.

I’m not impressed with the new Flolab protector. The oleophobic coating retains smudges worse than any other protector I’ve used. I also have an air bubble that won’t go away on the edge (it goes away when I press on it but then returns). For the price of this, plus the fact that you have to pay for shipping for any exchanges / returns, I won’t be purchasing from them again.

Does anyone know when FloLab is finally releasing their hot bend glass? I got my .7mm upgrade and I’m sad to say that despite an perfect install with no dust (at least on mine, could be a defect) there’s a large gap at the top and it definitely impedes on the screen. It is pretty smooth though.

New improved Flolab installed today and so far, so good. Got it on and it looks pretty good. Had a million bubbles that took me like 30 minutes to work out. Lucky I had one of those Spigen squeegees like Brian used in his video as they were some stubborn ass bubbles. The 4 L's show up good looking straight on, they do cut off a little while looking at an angle though. This is on the 16PM.

Praying cases don't peel this sucker up

I found belkin to be very unforgiving. I’ve tried installing it twice and also had a lot of dust every time despite a lot of prep and experience. Even though i could ask belkin for another replacement i just threw it in the trash, i don’t think this glass is anything special anyway.

Agree, not sure if it’s the adhesive they use or what. I’ve installed glass (and film) protectors on almost every device of mine for 15+ years and I think Belkin glass has given me the most trouble. To the point where I would consider purchasing and installing at the Apple Store to have them install it if I was set on them for a screen protector.

For those who’ve tried the UltraGlass and the new FloLab, which do you like more?
Ultraglass felt better. Flolab seems to have less border intrusion on the display. I don’t like either because when my phone is held to the side an an angle, I can see under the black border and see the screen.

Yikes. I don't understand the obsession with the black border. It seems like more trouble than its worth. I have been super happy with my wally world corning glass 🤷‍♂️

Got a new Belkin UG2 on the 16P today at an Apple Store. I don’t know, seems to be the best option right now but don’t like the edges, too sharp especially when swiping from below. This is the second for me, messed up the first one with damaging the glass edges in the top and have no idea how it happened. Had a cheaper ”no brand” after that but it cracked yesterday after a bump on the side.

They had to do it 3 times to get it right today… On the 1st try they forgot to take off the Nomad Magnetic Case Back I have on. Not good, their fancy machine they use in store complained somewhat lol. On the 2nd try there was clearly some dust under the glass, I didn’t have to point it out myself even. 3rd time a charm.

If this one doesn’t last, I’m strongly going to consider being without. Have AC+ at least.

I’ve had good luck with the Belkin. Did a home install that turned out perfect (with a little luck). So far, no chips or cracks, just a small amount of dust accumulation around the edge. Love the thinness and overall the best I’ve tried this year.
