Where do you get the UG one from in the UK, Apple? There isn’t as much of a consensus this year. I prefer the UG but a lot of folks are using the Belkin from Apple or Flolab.

Not sure if it's available on Amazon in the UK but I doubt Apple carries it. They only carry the Belkin AFAIK.Where do you get the UG one from in the UK, Apple?
Can you post a link to it please? Not sure if it's available on Amazon in the UK but I doubt Apple carries it. They only carry the Belkin AFAIK.
I would say probably not, since the 16 PM has a new size screen at 6.9”.Does anyone know if the 16 Plus screen protector will fit on the 16 Pro Max?
Have you tried the Belkin UG2? I’ve had zero problems typing with that protector.Taking off the flolab on my 16 Plus. The touch sensitivity is off. Constantly doesn’t register taps to unlock my phone and typos galore from unresponsive taps while typing. Might just go without any protector and risk it.
Update: removed the flolab screen protector and my typing is already dramatically improved from the better responsiveness. Gonna rock it without a protector this year.
Is that the one they sell at the Apple Store?Have you tried the Belkin UG2? I’ve had zero problems typing with that protector.
I almost fell into the FloLab hype but decided to stick with the Belkin and it’s been good.Is that the one they sell at the Apple Store?
Edit: yes that’s the one
I had it before and it was fine. I just fell into the Flolab hype. Gonna get that one installed again today and see if it stays responsive as before.
That was my issue too, had to get rid of the Flolab. Way too many touch issues.I have the Flolab one time pro on my 16 pro max and I definitely am having touch issues like some others here have. I am able to lay my finger gently on the screen and watch it respond only as I start to press harder.
Does the ultra glass anti glare have the same touch issues, can anybody here please test?
Ultraglass (not Belkin) anti glare. The 1-pack with the gray installation frame.Given up on the Belkin ultraglass 2. What issues are there with the Torras? Aware the border ever so slightly comes over the screen but apart from that is it an acceptable protector?
Also what recommendations do people have for protectors apart from Belkin?
Don't seem to be able to get this one in UK unless you have a link?Ultraglass (not Belkin) anti glare. The 1-pack with the gray installation frame.
Sure.Don't seem to be able to get this one in UK unless you have a link?
Yeah, this is US unfortunately and not able to ship to my address. Im in UK. Any other recommendations for UK available protectors please?
I second this question as well as looking for a screen protector for the 16 Pro Max and I live in the UK. The Flolab seems to be overpriced and overrated.Yeah, this is US unfortunately and not able to ship to my address. Im in UK. Any other recommendations for UK available protectors please?
I struggled with the adhesive in the bottom right hand corner, I got it to stick though and it was fine but I’ve banged the phone (nothing major or dropped it or anything like that) or dropped a TV controller on it from literally only a few centimetres and the adhesive around the bottom right would show white where it wasn't stuck down properly, managed to get it to stick back down with a bit of patience massaging it in but eventually I couldn’t get it out after my most recent minor knock.I second this question as well as looking for a screen protector for the 16 Pro Max and I live in the UK. What was the issue with the Belkin from Apple?
I see. I was going to get the Belkin for my 16 Pro Max but I have read many people saying that particular protector is very thin and breaks easily...I struggled with the adhesive in the bottom right hand corner, I got it to stick though and it was fine but I’ve banged the phone (nothing major or dropped it or anything like that) or dropped a TV controller on it from literally only a few centimetres and the adhesive around the bottom right would show white where it wasn't stuck down properly, managed to get it to stick back down with a bit of patience massaging it in but eventually I couldn’t get it out after my most recent minor knock.
I bought the Belkin UG2 again off Amazon as I do actually like the protector and my closest store is an hour away so I’m not local to go get one fitted in store. When I say I bought the protector again I actually bought MULTIPLE protectors, I find the installation method, terrible. Everytime I ended up with multiple specs of dust under the screen and could not settle with it. Took them all back and gave up with them, also wasn't happy about how easily the bottom right adhesive would come away from the lightest knock, I haven't dropped it once btw.
After doing a lot of digging on the web, if we want the nearest to perfect protectors its Belkin or FloLab 3D I think for us so I ordered the FloLab because the phone has nearly been out 6 months and I just want this to be over, ha! I used to just have ESR armorite on my old phone and never had any issues. This year with the new thin bezels is a nightmare to get a decent protector that doesn't cut off any of the screen, doesn't have sharp edges, screen bleed or rainbow effect.
People also rate the vionentus protector but again, not available in UK.
What did you end up getting? And did it improve the touch? That was my issue too, had to get rid of the Flolab. Way too many touch issues.
Yeah, I have been following the thread also since day one but I still don't believe there would be a better option that I’m aware of than Belkin or Flolab. The other Ultraglass protector would also be on the list if it was available on Amazon. If I have any issues with Flolab I am going to just get Torras off Amazon and deal with the fact it eats into the screen ever so slightly and be done with it.I see. I was going to get the Belkin for my 16 Pro Max but I have read many people saying that particular protector is very thin and breaks easily...
I have also read the Flolab is overrated and not worth the expensive price. Many reviews about the Flolab on this thread. What case are you using?
I’m using it without a screen protector. What did you end up getting? And did it improve the touch?
I love the anti glare of the Flolab, screen looks so much better with it. But I can’t stand how my touch doesn’t work. But I’m seeing people say some other protectors have the issue too. So it doesn’t seem specific to Flolab from what I can tell
