How would the Paragon go on a serious diet when the specs vs the Apple Silicone are smaller and thinner? Get rid of the proprietary Shocklite polymer?
You’d have to ask Caudabe. Metal parts, thick linings, and rigid back plates all contribute I’m sure.

The Sheath was my favorite case for years, back when it was light and minimalistic. Now it and the Paragon are in the vicinity of Otterbox and Phone Rebel weight without providing the same level of protection. I like the Paragon, but the weight is up there for such a supposedly minimalistic case.

My numbers aren’t rigged you just don’t like what they say. Plus I don’t like what they say either because I’ve always said the Apple Silicone is the quintessential. But numbers are numbers.

Still not convinced.

My Pro feels thin and light in my hand when I have Silicone installed compared with Paragon. And im quite frankly simply happy with that. 😁

I've tried multiple cases on multiple iPhone models, and in the end I always go back to Apple silicone. I think they're way overpriced but they're better than the cheap knockoffs found on Amazon.

I've carried my phones in a t-shirt pocket and the silicone cases provide just enough stickiness to keep them from slipping out if I lean forward. But with the weight of the 16 Pro Max the shirt pocket carry method doesn't work. My t-shirt pocket gets stretched out and the phone is once again prone to slipping out.

I’ve enjoyed the past few days in the Phone Rebel Gen 7, but going back to the Ultra-Slim Pitaka feels amazing. On a phone that weighs 165 grams, the difference in feel between a case that weighs 19 grams and one that weighs 50 grams is massive. It’s also nice not having such a beautiful device completely hidden under TPU…
