Yea but you’ve always said that the Sheath is too heavy for what it’s suppose to be.The Sheath maybe, but the Tank is a hard pass. Just not my cup of tea. 😊

Well first impressions?
The Tank & Air are a match made in.....................The Sheath maybe, but the Tank is a hard pass. Just not my cup of tea. 😊
Yup. That’s why I said it’s likely to end up in the reject drawer. The only reason I’d buy it is to use up a bunch of credits that would make it nearly free. That, and a mild curiosity.Yea but you’ve always said that the Sheath is too heavy for what it’s suppose to be.
… the warped mind of Dr. Frankenstein. The Tank & Air are a match made in.....................![]()
The Air is the only iPhone I could tolerate the Tank on. Together they are still lighter than a Pro Max but you have a phone with awesome protection plus a distinct look different from anything else out there. I like it and haven't taken it off since I got it.The Tank & Air are a match made in.....................
I've been in the Tank for over 24 hours and it's starting to actually feel like a Tank![]()
That’s cool. We all have different tastes. 👍🏼The Air is the only iPhone I could tolerate the Tank on. Do the credits expire?Yup. That’s why I said it’s likely to end up in the reject drawer. The only reason I’d buy it is to use up a bunch of credits that would make it nearly free. That, and a mild curiosity.
If I ever get it, mine will probably be the same. From your photos, it doesn't fit properly. Any colour showing though on the front and its going back. Reddit has already confirmed this.Firstly - apologies for the quality of the pics, taken with an old iPad and in poor lighting.
Sheath - Open (17 Pro):
- No button rattle at all, completely silent.
- Seams on the back are OK, not perfect but not sharp or anything that would bother me.
- Fit on the front isn't perfect though, you can see the colour of the phone metal peeking out near where the volume buttons are. So close.
It's a'ight.
I mentioned to Caudabe that it had still shipped even though I'd already cancelled and been refunded - they said I could keep it.

Criminal putting that tank on a air lolThat’s cool. We all have different tastes. 👍🏼
Got any issues with the air re battery, speaker, camera? That’s cool. We all have different tastes. 👍🏼
Killer? It’s not a sleeper if tons are people are using it
Nope.Got any issues with the air re battery, speaker, camera?
That is a common criticism of the TankTank Magsafe = Super Strong, I could barely get this thing off my ProClip car mount
Tank Buttons = way too easy to activate![]()
Both of those can be pretty annoying. Super strong MagSafe magnets get promoted by a lot of reviewers/influencers, but in my opinion, in real life there is a mid-level compromise that works best. It shouldn’t take two hands to remove a phone from a MagSafe mount…Tank Magsafe = Super Strong, I could barely get this thing off my ProClip car mount

I have a Pro but never use the Pro camera features. Would have been better off with a 17 base. But because of carrier trade in promo I got a Pro even though I won’t use the Pro features.Nope.
Battery: I don’t even use 50% in a day.

Speaker: Do grownups actually listen to “stereo” music on their phone speakers…lol? That’s why we have Bluetooth earphones and headphones people.
Camera: I haven’t missed the tele. It’s hardly worth mentioning, but a couple of times I could have used a macro for taking photos of tiny text (serial numbers and the like). A complete non-issue really.
So yeah, for me the oft mentioned compromises haven’t turned out to be anything.
Guilty as charged.Criminal putting that tank on a air lol
