My Andar just reached me too. Is your camera control button very difficult to press? Mine is slightly indent and lower than the case. Was expecting it to be at least flush to the case.
Mine’s like that too FWIW. Don’t think it’s a defect though, I just think they may have designed it like that to avoid accidental clicks.

My Nomad Rugged case is much too easy to press. I'd honestly prefer it to be harder to activate.

The clear case with the white rectangular patch looks good with a white iPhone. But it'll look odd with a blue or orange phone :S
It’s very clear the clear case this year is designed for the Silver Pro/ Max. It looks really cool, like the old Mac mini 1st Gen , Magic Keyboard, or iPods with that two-tone silver aluminum and white plastic. This case definitely doesn’t work with blue or orange, but it’s the perfect match for silver!

I’m getting the same vibe from my white/silver Air with the Apple Clear case. It sort of reminds me of an iPod in both look and feel.

Any chance someone has a picture of the silver pro with the black “Everest” Beats rugged combo? I’d like to see it before unloading 80 bucks… these case prices are getting insane for a hunk of plastic.

What’s the verdict on a Caudabe discount code? Stupidly used all my rewards for a 16 series case like a month ago, should have saved it.

Also, had some in-store pics. I’m liking this one. Especially the volt colored lining and buttons - and that the bottom edge is fully enclosed. Sorry - didn’t have the 17PM unboxed at the time to fit it in.

I ordered that black rugged Beats, but I’m getting the feeling the neon buttons won’t look right with the orange PM.

Looks-wise, still loving the green Apple TW with the orange PM. Just not sure about the durability in the long run.

The orange might be better with the orange phone?

I saw this in the leather thread. For those with metal camera rings, have you experienced a drop in speed as well?

PSA for all metal camera bump ring cases: I measured a significant drop in bandwidth with the Lonli case on vs no case:

With Lonli case:

I just got the Lonli in since it’s one of the nicer green leather cases I’ve seen. It’s beautiful, though the green on the camera ring and the buttons don’t match (hard to photograph, but I tried).

I love the size and feel of my pitaka case but dislike the possibilities of scratching the camera plateau with my car keys etc.

Considering one more option of getting orange skin for that reason and covering the parts that pitaka can't cover.

I don't dislike the dbrand ghost 2.0 at all - the neg though: visible finger smudging on the back, thicker than pitaka.

Yeah I’m happy with it like that as I don’t accidentally press it lol

Honestly I didn’t like this at first. But after accidentally pressing the button 6 times on my cactus in one day , I prefer the harder to get to button on my andar cases

I said I wouldn’t buy anymore cases until Black Friday. Yet here we are 🤦‍♂️ I’m gonna use one of those films that makes the Apple logo not visible and slap a Apple logo sticker on it in the middle of the MagSafe circle instead of that ugly spot towards the bottom of the circle

I just got my Pitaka case and have the same concerns of scratching (as well as it breaking when trying to take it off). My ghost case should be here today so I will have to go through my own evaluation but I am curious which way you are leaning or are you keeping both to use in different scenarios?

I have been loving my Ghost case. Can’t find anything I don’t like about it. If I had to really nit pick, I’d say the rainbow effect on the apple logo but that’s so minor that it shouldn’t even be mentioned… yet here I am lol

Oh I wont be keeping both, nor swapping back and forth.
If I already had the skin on those uncovered parts (orange) - I would 100% stay with the pitaka.

Because my phone is IUP I'm just trying to avoid extra spending on situation when apple would refuse taking it back next year, and make me replace it under apple care.

I dropped my 16 pro in past and in all situations the only visible damage was to the pitaka case itself, and shattered screen protectors - sadly pitaka edges sit so low that the protector is always above.

I don't mind the dbrand ghost 2.0 case. Using it as we speak and its nice. Definitely gives my mind a peace. Besides the camera lenses sitting below the case, everything else is covered. It also has a very minimalistic lip around the front screen protector, which is nice. Feels grwatnin hand.

If it wasn't due the potential scratches I would not even be searching for some other options.
However, I do drop keys and phone often together, and from past experience it scratched the screen protectors. With knowing that, the scratches on the aluminium casing would have been inveintable.

I will do a bit of more research on skins and go from there.
