How are the Pitaka Fine Woven cases? I see they are light, I assume they don’t add much bulk? Lastly, how is the feel? I’m looking for a case that isn’t grippy/sticky as many cases seem to be nowadays.
They’re really nice. Super light, zero bulk, and nearly zero protection. 😅 They feel great, not sticky, but lightly textured, just enough to provide a bit of grip. The only downside (besides the minimal protection) is that the cutouts around the buttons can be a bit sharp. You naturally learn to adjust the way you hold the phone to avoid those edges, but it could be a deal breaker for some.

I have to say this year with the PitaTap covering the CC not having that extra cutout on the side makes the ultra slims so much more comfortable to hold and the remaining cutouts don’t feel sharp.

My Benks ArmorAir which I returned since I’m all in with Pitaka this year, the corners didn’t feel as refined as the Pitaka. I’m definitely personally very happy with it. If you’re into ultra slims this case really satisfies!

That’s great to hear. Once the PitaTap models for the Air become available on Amazon, I’ll definitely be ordering one.

All my cases came on the same day. Pitaka stardust, andar aspen and spigen hybrid ultra T.

Pleasantly surprised by Pitaka case, they managed to do a camera control button that feel very seamless with the thin case.

Andar Aspen is the most bulky out of the bunch but it feels most premium out of all. Having some issue with the indented camera control button tho.

Spigen disappointed me the most. The build is quite filmsy especially the area covering the camera plateau. It is just a very thin piece of plastic covering it, almost broke it when I removed the case.

Good information, thank you.

For my Tesla owners, have y’all noticed that when using the TW case on iPhone 17 Pro Max trying to charge on the phone charger in the car it doesn’t work? When I take it out of the case, it charges fine.

Are these cases not MagSafe compatible even though they say they are?

I have a M3 2022 for context.

Got the Spigen Ultra Hybrid Mag T to at least have something until my Ryan London arrives. I've been using them for years, but it feels and looks really cheap this year. Ordered at Torras instead. Hopefully it will be better.

Crap I did it again

Let me know if the metal camera ring on the Aspen causes any reception issues since it covers the antenna band. I saw someone with another leather case saying his signal speeds dropped significantly because of the metal ring.

Mine should be here Thursday and I really hope this isn't the case.

I’m curious about this too. Mine arrives tomorrow—I’ll do some tests and post what I find here.

Placed mine last week

Do you have a date? Just trying to see when Caudabe ships them out based on when it was ordered? I ordered my Sheath gray during Preorder 9/13 and still no email confirms.

EDIT: Actually never mind, you ordered the Synthesis right? It’s not backordered like the Sheath is.

I used it for half a day now. Haven’t feel any difference in speed when browsing social media or music streaming. How do I measure it? Speed test app?

Yup. Use Ookla, test a few times with the case on, then a few with the case off.

I don’t see too much of a difference. On 5G in my office rn.

The first 2 is without case while the 3rd and 4th is with case. With case is actually better?!

Edit: Tested a few more times. Results are within 5% difference. Sometimes with case is better and sometimes w/o case is better. I don’t think the case made a difference.

That’s encouraging. I think the differences you’re seeing are within the range of normal speed fluctuations you’d expect on any network.

I’ll post my results tomorrow. Thanks!

The shipping service that Suti uses is absolutely horrible! I placed the order on 9/15.

Anyway, I am looking forward to receiving the alpine orange phone back for my silver 17 pro.
That’s the same color I ordered. I’m still receiving the same tracking as before. I’m going to send Süti another email in the morning to let them know it’s been almost 72 hours and my tracking hasn’t changed, and I want a refund on my order now. I’m done with them. They can keep the package or throw it away.

I placed my order on 9/9, as soon as their website went live for orders. I should’ve been had my case. Tomorrow morning will make 72 hours since my case has been held for payment with no change in tracking.

Have you received tracking on the Matter phoneback? When are you receiving it

Following up on my earlier Süti complaint, the USPS tracking info now says "USPS has not received a postage payment for your item. As of September 23, 2025 at 1:38 am, it is being held awaiting payment and cannot be processed. If the postage is received, the package will be delivered to the recipient; otherwise the package will be considered Postal Service property under USPS regulations and will not be delivered." I bought three phonebacks from them for my 16 pro and I loved them. I had no problem whatsoever with delivery of those items. I don't know what's happened to the company.
I’m having the exact same issue with my order that I placed on 9/9. Mine has been held since 9/21 with the exact same message that you have.
