Well… so much for the Ringke Alles…

Alright got the MatterHT clear Ice phone back.

First impressions: Magnet is strong, it is a little heavy but i think even Suti's comes out at around a similar weight (50g). It adds around 3-4mm of thickness as well. The edges feel smooth and the transition between phone and phoneback is seamless.

50 grams! The Suti for the 16PM was ~40 grams which I felt was way too heavy. At that weight it defeats the purpose in my opinion. I’d love to see someone make one from Aramid fiber in the sub-20 range.

The suti 17 pro max states 52 grams on their site; for my 16 pro i used the nomad leather phoneback (which was around 30 grams?). I think because the suti and matter ones attach magnetically, they weigh more... whereas nomad uses adhesives. I got tired of the leather look and wanted to see the color of my phone, so my only options would be clear phoneback or arc pulse lol

Has anybody bought both the Nomad Modern Case and the Ridge Everyday Phone Case? Trying to find a good black case for my iPhone 17 Pro in cosmic orange. They look to be essentially the same materials. I’ve always disliked the fact that the TPU sides of the Nomad case are not flat, but I’ve also bought that case for my previous two generations of iPhones.

Yeah, the excess weight must be in the magnets. I wouldn’t mind a reusable adhesive if the case was light enough.

Im digging it so far, the other one I ordered from Suti never came (this is a pic of that one).

I am still waiting for the Suti Alpine Orange phone back for my silver 17 pro. I have high hopes.

FYI, per Suti, the clear is the heaviest. Silicone and Nanoleather are lighter. Carbon fiber is the lightest and thinnest but sadly not be offered for the new iPhones ☹️

I thought about clear but they did it dirty with the full MagSafe circle 🤣

Yea im honestly digging this Matter one I got today and the magsafe circle is done well. I've already told Suti to cancel and refund my order due to the long delay.

Here's my latest breakdown on "thin" Air cases. I have the Totallee Scarf and the Thinborne, happy with both, but I have had my phone slide off the Apple MagSafe charger with the Totallee.

I dont have a device yet but ill be colour swapping TW mostly. They are perfect fit this year for Pro models.
I really liked the TW case but REALLY don’t like how it shows the color of the phone around the screen. I bought a black TW case, because anything but a black frame case I find distracting, but then there’s a frame of silver and poking out all the way around. I think they should cover it up.

What's the lightest case you've found that you've settled on? I just want something cheap but extremely minimal and not heavy

The really annoying thing is their phone back is vastly superior to the similar products I’ve seen. I remain hopeful that my order will eventually make its way through the system.
That’s the main reason why I really want my phone back. I hope my replacement arrives, otherwise I’ll just be using skins and glass protectors on the back.
