I dislike using card holder cases/wallets, and anything that attaches your cards to your phone. Don't get me wrong, its fantastic for convenience and I'd use them in a 'safe' location - but over in London (UK) where phone snatching is rife (I was a victim last year), I wouldn't want to be losing my bank cards along with my phone!
I hadn’t thought about that. I don’t live or work in an area where that would be an issue, fortunately.

Tried buying from them once, mistakenly bought a Pro Max case instead of a Pro case.
Seems like they only work one day a week. Took a week to get a reply and then another week to have the order cancelled, that was enough to put me off doing business with them anymore.

As you (I think it was you) said, it’s all placebo. They haven’t changed.
I disagree. I have a brand new iPhone 16 PM silicone case and it does feel a bit different compared to my 17 PM one. Commenting this to show people it’s not all placebo from my experience of direct comparison.

I ordered a leather case for my Air from Nomad. They've fashionably dressed my other iPhones in rustic brown leather. It arrived today and I really like it. Will have to keep an eye on the sides and keep my bumper case as a standbyView attachment 2565169.
This is one that Ive been looking at. Sent nomad a question on the weight. Could you post some pictures with the phone in it? Are you able to get the weight of it?

EDIT: Nomad responded and its 28 grams. Think I'm going to order the black for my black air.

I returned my blue techwoven. I liked the feel of it but I wanted a navy blue case and wasn’t too happy with the blue of the techwoven. Absolutely loving the look and feel of my midnight silicone! Been waiting so long for Apple to bring back a midnight blue/navy blue silicone case- glad it’s finally here

If there was a difference or improvement, Apple would shout about it.

Once your new $52.00 Sheath arrives you will need to pull a jerry-rig like this to fix those loose buttons o_O

Is that the MagSafe bulge popping up on the inside also?

Before I have to rig my case with painters tape, duct tape, superglue or bubblegum, I'll just toss it in the trash :rolleyes:

Eww! So glad I’m not into Caudabe anymore! Their shipping and always needing a fix products.

Yet it seems like a lot of people here continue to “stay tuned” for it!

Not too sure they’re “minimalist perfection” anymore! 😄

I could not stop laughing at this response by the mod on Reddit. So glad they created the subreddit for people to fix their problems.

All I can say about the Apple Silicone case is that on the 15PM I hated how it felt (powdery). This one on the 17 Pro is actually currently my fave because the fit and the color are just so good (I have the purple fog on the silver). I have no problems with lint, it felt less powdery than on the 15 PM and after using it for a while now it is now nice and smooth to hold. Could just be the new form factor, could be material. Who knows. No point arguing about it I guess. Everyone feels different about it.

That being said, I reordered the beats rugged because it was discounted on Amazon 😂 and also have a Tech 21 incoming that I’m curious about. Also may have ordered the TineeOwl case because of reasons. And that should hopefully complete my case rotation for the next two years 😂🤞🏻

When I preordered my sheath (that I canceled later) I remember reading that because they wanted to make sure every case fits perfectly, every case had specific buttons that just fit that particular case type. Did I imagine that? Why am suddenly readings buttons fit across the different cases?

Last year, the buttons were different for each case. Their CS reps are now saying the buttons are all the same, which clearly is not accurate. So either the buttons are wrong, the reps are wrong, or both. My money is on both, but who knows? Either way, @Hooterville will get it cleared up for us… lol.
 
I ordered my Caudabe Paragon ember last week, but with all of the shipping issues everyone is having, I know I will not get my order until November, and I’m starting to think I should just cancel my order and keep my 2 phone backs and wait for the desert gold case I ordered the other day. I should’ve learned my lesson by now from Süti 🤦🏽‍♀️.

In the past, the MagSafe lump on this case was the worst. Maybe they’ve fixed it?

Have gone from being a huge fan of Caudabe and singing their praises to everyone who would listen to actively disliking the company. I won't be buying directly from them again unless they have stock ready to ship.

Customer support has reached new depths. Trying to cancel an order, a simple task you'd think, but it's coming up to a week now and still no progress.

They claim they have additional customer support workers, but I can't see any difference.
