It is more black in person although different material than the back so looks more gray in the pics. Also the buttons are metallic in person. The lighting in the pics make them look plastic.
On September 10th I ordered the Midnight Paragon along with the scarlet, cobalt, violet buttons and a screen protector. A week ago I ordered a backup Midnight Paragon and the silver buttons just because I love this case that much. I do also have the black TechWoven that I may use from time to time as well.

Not sure what buttons I like best and will stick with. May end up using one of each although may look too busy.
The other colors are pretty meh.

Yep. Got matte black too. Wasn’t sure how the tpu would with with camera control but it’s surprisingly good.
Good case to hold over until I decide on a premium one
I found it on Amazon for $63.00 with a coupon. Ordered the gray one for my wife. I’ll see how I like it before I get one for myself.
I like the simplicity and smoothness of the back while the sides are grippy. I like how it feels in the hand. It feels solid and protective while not so bulky. I like that it doesn’t show fingerprints so bad. I like that the precise covers the camera plateau. It feels and looks premium to me.

Lot of rattles but it drives good and the outlets in it come in handy! Trading it in to go back to a car tho
The 1st party “Leather” logo case arrived after 20 days. Fits nice, buttons work well, nice feel, decent MagSafe, subtle logo. Has open camera control.

Looks like those eBay specials that have been floating about. If they had the camera control button, I would have been tempted
I just got my Caudabe Sheath and I noticed that the buttons rattle when I shake my phone.
I thought that they fixed the issue...
Or was the issue that earlier buttons rattled louder?
The rattle isn't super annoying. It's something that I probably wouldn't have even thought about if I didn't already read about the complaints before.
