I just got my Caudabe Sheath and I noticed that the buttons rattle when I shake my phone.

I thought that they fixed the issue...

Or was the issue that earlier buttons rattled louder?

The rattle isn't super annoying. It's something that I probably wouldn't have even thought about if I didn't already read about the complaints before.
Can you post pics of the case?

Who shakes their phone?

Shake Gate?

How about normal use? Do they rattle?

This is the Celestial Blue on my Blue 17 Pro.

I've had at least 33 different cases on my iPhone 17 Pro now. I think the only one with buttons that made noise was the Caudabe case. Like

1) I only mentioned it because I've seen others complain on here and reddit.

2) Caudabe literally made a statement about this, saying that it was a manufacturing defect and that they would be mailing new buttons to people.
"It appears a small batch of our buttons were made with slightly imprecise measurements."

Is the celestial blue case buttons black or blue?

Pitaka Ultra-Slim

EDIT: Unfortunately, it turns out the metal camera surround rests directly on the glass plateau. When lightly tapping the surround, you can actually hear a “clink” as it makes contact with the glass. It’s a shame because it’s a beautiful case otherwise. Just wanted folks to be aware in case they were considering ordering one. I’ll be returning mine…

In the city I live in we got about 5 of them. I’m sure in California there’s a lot more lol.

So far this nomad case is nice , it is thinner than the andar but I think it’s a little wider. Buttons aren’t as clicky either
In SoCal I'd say if you go out for a drive, chances are you'll see at least one. You'll also see 2-3 teslas at every single traffic light.

Also in that "I see at least one every time I go out for a drive" list:
  • VinFast SUVs.
  • Lucid Air
  • Rivian of some sort
  • one of those GM brightdrop vans. Oddly enough one of the Amazon delivery companies just started using them. Fedex uses them. Amazon doesn't use the rivian vans here! But I do see those in orange county....
  • Acura ZDX
  • Toyota Supra. There's one in the neighborhood and I enjoy seeing it when I drive by.

By far the most common thing you see are Tesla Model 3/Y, Toyota Rav4, Honda CR-V, Subarus, various other Toyotas and Hondas, and Volkswagens. Most commercial vehicles are vans (chevy express, ford transit, mercedes sprinter, ford e series), and some people have Silverados or F150s or Rams but not many. Seeing a full size superduty F350 or Ram 3500 is rather rare unless you're on the freeway, in which case you see them as hotshot drivers hauling 2-3 cars on a trailer.

Well, this sucks. It turns out the metal camera surround on the Pitaka Ultra-Slim case sits directly on the edge of the glass plateau on the Air. In fact, if you lightly tap on the surround, you can hear a distinct “clink” as the metal contacts the glass. I can’t imagine what they were thinking with this design. I guess it will be going back to China. 🤬
