What is it with Caudabe and this forum? Back with the 15 PM I bought into all the hype and ordered a Sheath to the UK. It wasn’t great, buttons were terrible and personally I found it over bulky and plasticky and the grip for my hands wasn’t that great. I got an exchange for the version with ‘fixed’ buttons and they weren’t that much better.

Fast forward 2 years and there is lots of chat about Caudabe again and people waiting for deliveries, buttons rattling etc. what is it about this company that make people keep come back despite all the issues? Something like a Spigen on next day delivery would seem to offer far more to me and for a better price
Caudabe used to make some of the best minimalist cases, but in recent years they’ve gotten more complex and, consequently, heavier and more finicky. They’ve also been on a steep growth curve and have not done well to keep pace. If you were to order one of their cases in July you’d probably like the case and think they have good customer service, but this time of year they always kind of implode as a company.

Waiting for my cases to catch that UK bound flight.

I love it! The fit, look, and feel are perfect. It’s my favorite case followed closely by the TW. To answer your other question, yeah the CC button seems to be the same material
The Apple Sil would be my favorite case it wasn’t silicone lol. Give me same form factor as Apple Sil but with material and texture close to the Caudabe Sheath, I’m sold. That’s why when I had the 15pro Sheath it stayed on my iPhone 90% of the time. Only bug difference was that the Apple Silicone was about .9mm thicker.

I ordered the Sheath precise and I’m hoping for the same.

Have you tried out the TW? I think it has a better texture than the sheath and it’s very thin like the silicone case

Why doesn’t everyone just wait until Caudabe stock normalizes? I get placing the order in September and being upset but it seems everyone has cases, great cases at that and we’ve Caudabe gets right with stock, then order….
I agree here.

Everyone knows the issues but they keep ordering and will subsequently keep complaining.

Save yourself the headache and wait

From what I’ve seen, poor communication (due to understaffing) and moving goal posts from Caudabe are at the root of the problem. Putting it back on the customer certainly isn’t the answer, which is something I’ve seen plenty of in this thread and elsewhere.

I had the clear Caudabe on my 14 pro for 3 years. Best case I could find. Went with the Paragon this year. Much better than Spigen Walmart cases.

It’s also a plus they have great button choices.

Haven’t tried out the TW, maybe I will.

The Sheath checks 2 more boxes than the Apple Sil, which is finger prints and sliding in and out of pocket easily.

Why doesn’t Caudabe just learn how to launch a product and keep inventory and stock just like any of the other case makers? Their staffing isn’t hardly of concern to the customers. They knew the information required to produce and launch a case just like all the other manufacturers ahead of time. They need to do better. Period.

Quit coming in here blaming us, the customer.

This. At least phonerebel tells you in advance they are gonna be late. Caudabe tells you you’ll get delivery in a week then starts pushing it back by a month
